Guarding Glenda
Can there be trust built on lies…even ones you told yourself?
Glenda has been pushing through life since she lost her old man. The club took care of her, and she played her part. But it hasn’t been easy. She was left fighting a battle nobody could understand. After almost dying at the hands of the Bloody Scorpions trying to save her friend, the last thing she expected, or wanted, was to wake up in the bed of her own personal enemy, Leigh.
Leigh kept his word to his brother and made sure Glenda was safe. She hated him, though, and it cut him to his core. But that promise was not for the sake of her old man, but for her. When he finds Glenda within death’s grip, he can’t deny his true feelings any longer. He knows it will be a battle not only to help her heal physically, but to help her fight the demons that plague her, even if it means he’ll never have her as his.
When tensions grow, hidden truths are revealed leaving Glenda confused and hurt, and forcing things she pushed deep down to bubble to the surface. Leigh continues to fight for her and what they could be, then learns her mind isn’t the only thing out to get her. Whether she wants him or not, he is willing to kill, and die, if it means keeping her safe.
