A Threat, Not A Promise

I straighten my suit, grinding my molars together.

“Oh, did I hurt you?” she says faking a sweet, concerned voice, still fighting to get the ring off. “Fuck, why can’t I take it off!” she yells.

“You’re going to pay for pulling that shit,” I promise her, wiping at the blood I feel dripping down my nose.

“What are you going to do, asshole?” she asks, grabbing a chair to throw at me. I catch it midair and fling it across the room.

“Fuck,” I think I hear her whisper while she tries to hit me in the jugular. I’m able to grab her hand and push her backward against the table. I pin her against the cold surface, her back pressed against it as she swears. I take her other arm and stretch them high above her head, positioning myself between her spread legs. I lock our fingers together, staring at the plain gold band.

“I like that you’re wearing a dress, and my ring.”

“You can thank Eliot for that. He puked all over my suit before you two hauled us out of the club this morning. Even if I have to chop off my finger to get rid of this shit I will!”

“I’m glad he did,” I purr, my eyes moving over her pantyhose and the skirt slowly moving up, not yet revealing the underwear she’s wearing. But I’ll know what’s under it soon enough. “And you will wear the damn ring!”

“Let me go,” she hisses through clenched teeth, fighting with my hands for the upper hand.

“Why? Don’t you like this?” I inch closer so I can taste her breath on my lips. I press myself against her and I swear I can feel her heartbeat. My cock twitches while her eyes widen in alarm.

“Let me go,” she manages to get out, her voice barely more than a whisper.

“Where’s the fun in that?” I ask, trying to hold myself in check. I should ease her into getting to know the person I really am. But if she has a part of Moon in her, I know she can handle me. I’ve never met anyone crazier than him when it comes to the people he loves. He pretends Eliot isn’t one of them, but the fucker is lying. It’s written all over his face. He would burn down the world for him. The only thing we need to do is produce an heir to keep both families happy, then we can live our separate, happy lives. That’s what I’m planning to do the moment she signs the papers. Everyone will leave me and Moon the fuck alone if we expand our empire.

She tries to turn her body and crawl over the table to back away from me, but I hold her in place. I like pushing her buttons. I like to see how she’ll react and what she’ll do. I’ve tried my best to ignore her the last few years, but she’s been making it more difficult with each passing day. A part of me needs her; that’s what scares me the most. By needing someone you get hurt; I learned that a long time ago. I only need her to carry my child when the time comes, that’s it. At least that’s the story I’m selling to myself. I grab the pen and place it in her hand.

“Let go!” she yells while she struggles in my tight grip.

“This isn’t for stabbing me in the chest, but to sign those papers.” I snatch a piece of paper and take her hand that’s clutching the pen. “Sign it,” I order, pushing her hand with the pen against the papers.

She spits in my face; her eyes widen like she didn’t expect herself to behave like this. Saliva drips down the bridge of my nose to the top of my lip. I run my thumb over it and press my legs against her, my thighs keeping her locked in place.

“Sign. The. Papers,” I repeat, my voice low and raspy. I frown; I didn’t think her spitting in my face would have this effect on me. My chest feels tight, and my dick is hard as hell. I roll my eyes. Let’s not think about my dick for a moment. There are other priorities.

I clutch her hand while she cries out in pain, but signs one anyway. “One down a couple more to go.”

Fire bursts from her eyes and I try to the keep the smile pulling on my lips to spill over. I’m never as entertained as right now, except when I’m with Moon or Eliot, but with her I’ve smiled more in the last five minutes than I’ve ever done with either one of them. She’s entertaining, I’ll give her that.

“Sign the rest of the papers so we both can get out of here,” I bark out, and she purses her lips in response. My cock starts to ache; my grip on her wrists falters a little and she socks me right in the face. The ring splits my brow right open, and blood starts to drip down my face.

“That wasn’t very nice, wife.” I laugh trying to move my jaw. “Damn, it hurts.”

“I’ll tell Moon,” she utters, her temper flaring like Moon’s, getting another smile from me.

“He knows, remember,” I counter, her smile falling. She knows I’m telling the truth. This is all part of our bigger plan. It won’t work without her or Eliot for that matter.

“We can keep this up all night,” I tell her, picking up another piece of paper and pressing her hand that’s still clutching the pen against it.

She swears, but signs anyway. I wipe at the corner of my lip with my knuckles and smirk; it’s red from my blood.

Still holding her captive between my legs, I glance at her dress. It’s almost ridden up all the way to her waist, the pantyhose hugs her curves, and I can see the black underwear she’s wearing.

“Eyes up here, asshole. I especially wore the largest grandma undies I could find today.”

“I feel honored.” I laugh. Funny she thinks I care about what she’s wearing. I don’t care if she’d walk around in my boxers. I start to grin; it wouldn’t be a bad idea though. Leaning back, I let go of her hand. I tap a cigarette from my pack, lighting it up. “You have ten papers left.”

“You won’t last that long,” she sulks, sitting up to push her dress down. I let her, for now.

“You have no idea how long I can last.” I laugh, smirking around the cigarette while I place my hands on either side of her body against the table.
