I go back to the exterior camera and watch the video again, a smile stretching over my face.
She’s moving in with me.
I’m fucking certain of it.
I have no fucking idea why the interior cameras aren’t working but it’s not important right now. Not when I’m so sure that my girl has decided to make this place her home.
Shit.
I should go help her.
Plus, I can check out the cameras and see what’s going on with them while I’m there. I slip my phone back in my pocket and head downstairs, grabbing my cut off the counter and slipping it on before I snag my keys.
I glance down at the keys in my hand before looking over at the junk drawer in the kitchen.
There is an extra key in there.
I should grab it and give it to her.
Rounding the island, I yank open the drawer and grab the extra key the builders gave me when they were finished with the house, shoving it in my pocket.
Once I’m done, I head out to my bike.
On the ride to her apartment, I can’t stop my grin as I picture Lennon in our home.
Every single fucking day.
I picture her in our bed.
I can see her curled up on the couch with a book in her hands and a blanket over her lap, completely engrossed.
I imagine coming home from a run and finding her in the kitchen, whipping up all her favorites treats, a wide smile on her face.
Fuck.
I never even realized how badly I needed this, needed her, until the moment she walked into my life with all her damn sunshine.
I’m fucking anxious.
Anxious to kiss my girl.
Anxious to get all her shit and bring her home.
And anxious to spend all night thanking her for choosing this.
Choosing me.
Pulling into the alley, I spot her Jeep and pull in behind it, killing the engine on my bike. As I climb off, I spot the totes I helped her get from Owen’s place already in the back and my smile grows.
I was right.
She is moving in with me.
With a damn grin on my face, I shove my bike keys into my pocket and take the stairs two at a time. When I get to the landing, I try the doorknob and frown.
Unlocked.
