Wyatt sat up, holding my stare while he undressed me. Unfastening his jeans and pushing them to his knees, he crept forward, easing me to my back so he could settle between my thighs. As he tenderly glided inside, my legs wrapping around his waist, my soul felt at peace, knowing that despite being in love with two men, this one was the one I was meant to be with.

He thrust forward, filling me, knocking me up the cushions. I gasped and purred, holding the sides of his face, neither of us willing to break the stare.

“I love you, Chazzy. I’ve never loved anyone like you before. I’ve never felt this kind of love before. Please, don’t take that away when Milo straightens up for your kid.”

An ache pressing on my chest, I shook my head and breathed, “There’s nothing to worry about. We’ll be long gone before that happens.”

He paused, something odd glinting in his irises. He bowed his chin, heaved a sigh, and laid on my chest, engulfing me with his thick arms while he slowly made love to me the rest of the morning.

Chapter 39

Chastity Pampinella

Standing in my sunroom, wearing only a robe, I had one arm draped over my stomach, the other propped on top to chew my nail. I was staring across the street at Lake Michigan, my mind almost numb from worry.

Today was the day Amanda returned to Jack. Richard was two months old, she was healed, and the files had been successfully transferred around the globe for her safety net. She and her bodyguards would be showing up to their house within the next couple hours, after the kids went to school.

This was either going to work, and she was safe, or she and her escorts would be shot on sight, before she could even lay down her compromise.

She was going to tell him that as long as she was safe, she would remain being his wife, though through name, only. All she wanted was to be with the kids. He could continue having his affairs, she cared nothing about them. She would not expose his secret, if he left her alone to be with the children.

Would it work? How would Jack react to be threatened? Would he take his chances, call her bluff, and get rid of her?

I would absolutely blow his ass out the water if she ended up missing or dead. I would blow the whistle like Rose in the Titanic. One word from me or Wyatt, and twenty-four contacts spanning the entire earth would go public with four hours of drug and booze induced sexual indiscretion between a married politician, a married mobster, and a gambling junkie.

Heat encompassed me from behind and I knew from the size, it was Wyatt. Shifting my focus from outside to inside, I saw his reflection hovering over my shoulder in the windowpanes. His brows were low, his nostrils flaring, his shoulders rising and falling with that feral state he fell into every month.

“I can’t smell you,” he growled with his sadistic tone that exhilarated me.

Confused for a moment, I didn’t have time to think before he was fisting my hair and yanking me away from the windows. Spinning me around, we staggered across the room so he could pin me to the wall.

I was reeling, my belly twirling and my blood rushing with lust. “Oh, Daddy.”

He bit the tip of my ear, shoving aside the front of my robe to force his fingers between my thighs. “Where’s your blood? I’m hungry.”

The vibrations of his words were on my back, and I moaned, sinking into his chest. “It’s coming, Daddy. I’m cramping. Give it a couple hours.”

“Now!” he barked, ringing my ear. Another animalistic growl, a finger thrusting inside. His opened mouth on my cheek, he was panting. “Christ, kitten, I’m fucking starved. You were supposed to feed me three days ago. I’m hungry!” he groaned, sounding frantic. “My body needs your blood.”

My knees were weakening, perspiration sheening my skin. He kept talking like that and I would cum just from his words.

Just a few seconds too late, I heard the creak of the bedroom door open. Shrieking, I threw myself to the floor, tugging my robe closed.

Wyatt cursed and stumbled backward, rubbing his hand on his jeans. “Oh, fuck.”

“What the hell is going on?” Milo boomed, running through the bedroom and barreling around the corner to the sunroom.

My heart was going to explode. We were busted. We were going to die. Bursting out crying, I was hyperventilating, not sure what to say or do right now.

“I’m not sure, boss, I came to see if she was ready to go to work, and she said she wasn’t feeling well. I ran over there and as soon as I got to her, she collapsed. That’s when you showed up.”

He did a doubletake, looking from me to him and back. Crouching, he petted my hair, cupping the cheek on the shag carpet to lift my head.

“Baby girl, you okay?”

He was buying that? Seriously? Why would Wyatt be in my room with the door closed? His story absolutely did not make sense, yet he was believing us.

My voice quivering with fear, I pretended to be sick and stammered, “I really don’t feel good, baby. I got dizzy and…and I think I fainted for a second.”
