Her eyes drifted closed, and she sighed.“I think I will.Just for a little while.”
The men listened as her breathing deepened.
Koa stood when someone tapped on the door to their bedroom.
“Thank you for coming so fast.She’s in so much pain.”

“Let’s have a look ather.”Jason stopped next to Koa and gripped his shoulder.“Stop worrying.She’ll feel better in no time.”
Koa relaxed and nodded.“Thanks, man.”
Jason stood by the bed and looked down at the pretty woman.His eyes ran over her face before he glanced at Jon.“What are her symptoms?”
“She complained about a really bad headache, very light- and noise-sensitive.”
Jason nodded.“Sounds like a migraine.”Jason looked around the room.“I’m going to need a light, guys, so I can see.”
Koa turned the light on that sat on the bedside table.“Is this enough, Jason?”
Jason nodded.He sat down next to her hip.He checked her temperature and glands.He pushed the blanket down and pressed on her stomach.He watched carefully to see if there was any tenderness.Lastly, he checked her pupils, knowing it would hurt.
She gasped and flinched away from him.
“Easy, sweetheart.I’m done.I’m sorry I hurt you.”
Mina’s eyes squinted open.“Who are you?”
“I’m a friend of your men and a doctor.”
“A doctor?”
“Well, I played one on TV, that’s enough, right?”he joked.
Her eyes widened at the joke, she chuckled softly, and then her eyes slid closed.
“Since you’re awake.Is there any other pain besides your head you need to tell me about?”
“No,” she said without opening her eyes.“It’s just the average migraine.These guys are worrying for nothing.”
Jason looked from one man to the other and grinned.“Oh, I get the impression they’d be upset if you stubbed your toe.”
She scrunched up her nose and giggled.“That’s silly.We hardly know each other.”
Jason grinned at the possessive look on his friends’ faces.“I don’t think that matters, honey.”
“Ummm,” she hummed.“Can I rest for just a bit?”
“Absolutely.Sleep is exactly what you need.I’m going to give you a shot for the pain.Would that be okay?”
Koa and Jon nodded and blurt out a yes, while Mina just murmured.
Jason bit back a laugh.“This medicine will take effect very quickly, but it will also make you very tired.I need you to roll to your side, honey.I have to give you the shot on your upper buttocks.”
Jon helped her to turn and then pulled the blanket down.Koa stepped in and moved the shirt they put her in up enough to be out of the way, and Jon pulled down her panties a bit.
Jason turned back to the bed with the syringe and had to bite his tongue to keep from laughing.They left a small amount of skin for him to give the shot, they’d made sure the rest of her was covered completely.He wiped the area with an alcohol swab.
