“All right, you’ll feel a little prick, honey.”

She nodded slowly.

The men flinched when the needle pierced her skin.Jason noticed and shook his head as he disposed of the syringe. When he turned back, they had her covered completely and were whispering to her.

Koa stood and walked Jason to the door.Jason handed him a few samples of pills and a prescription.

“Have her take these if she has another migraine, but I suggest she go to her family doctor to get checked out. When she wakes, the worst of it should be gone.Give her Tylenol if there’s any headache left. She will sleep for over twelve hours, so don’t worry. If she wakes up still in severe pain, call me.”

Koa rubbed a hand down his face before he patted Jason’s back.“Thanks for coming so fast.”

Jason nodded and looked toward the bed.“You feel deeply about her?”

Koa nodded as his worried gaze cut to the bed.

“I’m happy for you guys.”

“It was damn lucky we met her. We’ll tell you the story later.”

Jason slapped Koa’s shoulder.“I’m looking forward to it.You both need to get some rest. You look like shit,” he said and laughed.

Koa grunted.“Thanks for the advice, Doc.”

Jason raised his hand as he walked away.

Koa closed and locked the door and made his way to bed.He set down the stuff Jason had given him, shucked his clothes, leaving his boxers on, and slid into bed on the other side of her.

Jon moved off the bed.“I’m going to take a quick shower.”

Koa nodded.

Jon was done within a few minutes. He stood over the bed and looked at the two sleeping as he rubbed a towel over his head to dry his hair.An overwhelming feeling of contentment settled in his chest. This is what they had always talked about.Sleeping with the one woman they felt they could have a lifelong connection with. They had shared many women, but none of them came close to the feelings this little woman brought out in them.

He threw the towel onto the chair and slid into bed.He curved his body against her back, lay an arm over her waist, and closed his eyes.Between one breath and the next, he was asleep.
