“Are you asking me to marry you?”
Logan felt his chest warm. “I’m telling you that I love you.” He looked at Sam. “Both of you.” He glanced between them. “And I want to spend the rest of my life making you both happy.”
“And you don’t mind everyone knowing?”
He smirked. “I have a penchant for shock and awe, you know that.” Logan took a deep breath, then met Elijah’s stare and held it. “I love you, and I don’t have any intention of pretending otherwise.”
“I love you, too.” Elijah then looked over at Sam. “You hold my heart in the palm of your hand, so I need to know that this is what you want before I answer him.”
She grinned, so much love in her eyes. “I think it’s a great idea.”
“Me, too,” Elijah noted, and Logan felt those words warm his soul.
Sam tapped Logan’s thigh. “I’ll agree to be married—at least in theory—to both of you, under one condition.”
Logan suspected he knew what she would say, but he arched an eyebrow in question when she peered up at him.
“I get to watch sometimes.”
Shaking his head, Logan laughed, leaning down and pressing a hand to the bed beside her head. “We’ll consider it. Under one condition.”
Sam’s hands cupped his face, her eyes bright. “What’s that?”
“You wear the maid’s outfit at least once a month.”
“Once a week,” Elijah corrected.
With a giggle, Sam lifted her head, bringing her mouth to his. “But I’mnotcleaning the oven.”
Logan looked to Elijah for a final decision. He nodded, grinning wide.
“Deal.”
“Good.” Sam yawned dramatically. “Now, if y’all are done with the mushy stuff, I’d like to get some sleep.”
Logan laughed, his relief overwhelming and potent.
