I didn’t answer him. I didn’t need to. He already knew I did. “Where have you put Bobby?”
“In your office for now. Do you want him moved somewhere more...private? In case she wakes up and comes searching for you?”
I knew what he was asking me. Did I want the lad moved to the basement? A place that was soundproof and almost like a prison cell
I shook my head as I slipped my cut over my shoulders.
“No, the office is fine. I just need to talk to him.” With a backwards glance, I followed my number two out of the door and shut the door behind me.

The momentI stepped foot inside the office, Bobby was on his feet and headed towards me. His hands closed into fists by his side.
“Where is she? I swear to God if you have done something to her then I will...”
“You will what?” My good mood evaporated as I settled myself down into the plush leather chair behind my desk. It creaked as I leant back. “You’ll do what exactly, Bobby?”
He blustered for a second. His mouth opened and closed like a fish. “Where is she, Fang? She came here and no one has seen her since. If you want someone to blame then blame me and leave Gypsy alone.”
My eyebrow arched. He was being brave. Showing more fire than he had the entire time he had prospected for us. “Gypsy is no longer your concern.” I flicked my wrist towards the chair opposite me. Bobby didn’t move, he just continued to stare at me.
I knew he must have been uncomfortable, what with me glaring at him and Hansel’s hulking presence at his back. But he didn’t back down.
“Sit down.”
“I need to get Gypsy and get her out of here.”
I was up and out of my chair in a blink of an eye. Reaching across the desk, I fisted the front of Bobby’s hoody in my hand, dragging him towards me so our faces were just inches apart.
The fear that filled his eyes was welcome.
“I said sit the fuck down, Bobby.” I let go of him so suddenly that he stumbled backwards into the waiting chair.
“I… We didn’t sleep together, Fang. We...”
I rolled my eyes. “I know. That’s not what I wanted to talk to you about. Gypsy trusts you.” I waited for him to speak.
He didn’t.
“I want to know her past, Bobby.”
“Then you should ask her. If she wants you to know then she will tell you.”
A single nod from me and Hansel stepped forward. His hands came down to rest on Bobby’s shoulders, holding him in place.
My voice was deadpan. “I want you to tell me, Bobby, everything you know. And if you don’t, then Hansel is going to break every one of your fingers until you do.”

Gypsy
I had expectedto wake up alone. When I finally opened my eyes and rolled over to peer sleepily at the clock on the bedside table, it was almost eleven, but I could hear the shower from the half-opened door of the bathroom.
Not only had Fang stayed with me, but I had slept. Actually slept for the first time in years. I had forgotten how good it felt to get more than an hour or two at a time. Of course, it could’ve had something to do with the mind-blowing sex.
Fang hadn’t torn the orgasms from my body like he had the first time we had come together, instead, he had coaxed them. Over and over again.
He had been almost loving.
