I chuckled because he seemed really upset by the interruption. “Who is that?”

“Oscar.”

I knew all about Oscar. I had yet to meet him because he never slept here, and I was normally gone before he arrived in the morning. He’s a little earlier than usual today. The door handle jiggled before Oscar started knocking on the door.

“Will, get up. I need to talk to you. SOS. My relationship is up in flames!” he cried out dramatically.

I laughed, now understanding why he and Will were best friends. He, too, could be quite theatrical.

Will had a worried expression as he stared at me. “Are you alright? I know how you feel about people knowing?”

I sighed, feeling like a bit of an asshole. I hated not being open about us, but I just wasn’t ready. But when it came to his friend, I wasn’t going to force him to lie or sneak around.

“Baby, I don’t expect to hide things from your best friend. Plus, I’m pretty sure he already knows.” I gave him a knowing look.

Will blushed, biting his plump bottom lip. “I mean, yeah. But he would never tell anyone. I promise.”

I nodded, pecking his lips a few times. “I trust you.”

Will sighed in relief. Just then, Oscar banged on the door again.

“Will! Did you not hear me? I’m in distress out here. Are you really going to leave your best friend out here to mend his broken heart alone?!” he shrieked.

I kissed his lips once more and rolled out of bed.

“I will never get over that lion tattoo. It’s so damn sexy,” Will said, propped up on his elbow.

I had the face of a lion covering my entire back. His eyes matched my icy blue ones. When Will first asked me what made me get the tat, I told him it was because I was a Leo, which was partly true. I got the tattoo because lions represent courage and strength, which I had a lot of to survive the things I had.

But the main reason I had it was to cover the scars left behind by Sire. There were lash scars all over my back. You couldn’t see the scars because of the tattoo, but you could feel them. Any time Will tried to touch my back, I would grab his hands. I would play it off by interlocking our fingers or kissing his hands. I didn’t know if he was catching on to this, but he hadn’t brought it up.

I hurriedly dressed as Oscar was now having a full-blown meltdown in the hallway. Once I finished, I leaned over Will in the bed and kissed him long and hard. By the time I pulled away, he was panting. “I’ll see you later at the kickback, right?”

The club was having a small get-together tonight. It wasn’t anything like our parties. Those were wild. It would only be the brothers and some women from around town. That was the only reason Cara and Sara would be in attendance tonight. I was shocked when Will told me they had invited him. I thought they would keep the nannies at a distance, but apparently, the girls really like Will and Debbie. So, they had invited them both.

Will nodded while staring at me like he wanted to pounce. “Yeah,” he whispered.

“Alright. See ya later, Dimples.” I winked and made my way to his bedroom door. As I opened it, Oscar's hand was lifted, preparing to knock once again.

He froze at the sight of me. Now he was indeed little. He barely came to my chest, and he was much slimmer than Will. Oscar had honey-colored skin and a blonde pixie cut. He, too, had a baby face like Will. I was starting to see that the only thing these two didn’t have in common was their ethnicity and hair color.

Oscar blinked up at me in fascination before he snapped out of it. He then turned to Will, who was still in bed. He was glaring at Oscar. I was sure he was still salty about the interruption.

Oscar didn’t seem deterred at all. He grinned from ear to ear. “Ooooh, bestie, you hit the fuckin jackpot! You have to tell me everything,” he cheered as he pushed past me and leaped onto the bed.

Will looked over at me apprehensively. I crooked my finger at him, beckoning him to come to me. He grabbed his robe, slipping it on before shuffling over to me. He seemed nervous. I knew it was because he was worried about how I felt about him discussing me.

I gripped his chin, bringing his gaze up to mine. “It's okay, baby. You can tell him whatever you want about us.”

He smiled widely, making my favorite thing about him appear—those damn dimples.

“Can I have one more for the road?” he asked.

I had never kissed him in front of anyone before, but it wasn’t like Oscar didn’t know what was going on. So, I happily obliged.

I wrapped a hand around his throat and devoured his mouth right there in front of his best friend. By the time we pulled apart, Will was back to square one, completely turned on, and Oscar was staring at us with his mouth hanging open. I squeezed Will's ass for good measure.

“See ya later.”
