My name has never sounded this great. She makes the name sound beautiful with her amazing voice.
“Yeah, I should get back to work,” I tell her, remembering Coleman has to pick his wife from the health center.
“Oh, sure, I will stop by to get a cup of coffee before going home,” Rose promises.
“That sounds great,” my smile breaks into a grin.
“Yeah, thank you.”
I nod before walking back to my truck. She’s going to stop by for a cup of coffee before going home, that’s something. I peek outside again; Rose is walking towards the cabin. A loud sigh drops from my lips, and I hope I can make this work this time. I will be the happiest man on Earth to have such a beautiful woman. Well, I’m not going to get my hopes high. I will just try to be as optimistic as I can be, and pray she’s single.
It’s the seventieth time I’m glancing outside, checking to see if she’s here. It’s over two hours already, and she’s not here yet. Did she forget to stop by? Has she gone back to the city without stopping by? Well, I knew it. I knew she’d forget and just…
“Hi.”
I turn around when that voice intrudes on my thoughts; I cannot hide the smile on my face. I’m so happy to see her.
“Hey.”
“The cabin is a lot of work. So, I had to do some cleaning and all that.” She walks to sit on a vacant space. “Oh goodness, I’m so exhausted!” she groans as she sits.
“I’d help you with it the next time you come around. Cleaning can be a lot of work for just one person; you need assistance.”
Rose turns to face me, her face a box of so many expressions. “Why are you so nice?” she spills a question.
“Oh, I’m just offering to help. What coffee would you like?”
“It’s charming, you offering to help,” she replies with a nod and a smile. “Espresso.”
“Okay,” I stick up the ‘okay’ sign.
The coffee was ready in a few minutes. I walk to her table. “Here.”
“Thank you.” She accepts the cup from me and takes a small sip. “Mm, tastes great!”
“I’m glad you like it. So, the cabin—”
“Oh, yeah, it’s my mom’s, but I’m planning on turning it into a bedroom and breakfast inn,” she tells me.
“Wow! That sounds amazing…”
We continued talking, and the conversation lasted for over thirty minutes. I find myself laughing in the middle of it. Rose is so funny; I love her sense of humor. I don’t think I’ve met many ladies with this incredible sense of humor, a beautiful lady with a perfect sense of humor? Really rare to find, but I have found her. And I’m willing to make her mine if she gives me a chance.

Dominic, the name rings in my head as I walk inside my apartment. He’s a great guy. He does not say a lot, but the little he says is just perfect. He made today a lot of fun for me.
“Hi, Mom,” I greet my mom.
“Hey, how was it?” she asks me, curiously.
“It was great,” I reply with a shy smile.
“What’s that smile?” my mom inquires like I know she would.
“Nothing, Mom. Nothing, I’m tired, I need to rest,” I smirk before hurrying inside my room.
