I feel Vale flinch.
“She’s a little bloodthirsty,” he mutters.
“You have no idea,” I whisper back. “Okay, so you know my Dad; Mitchel. My mother’s name is Yvonne. That’s Izzy with the dog.”
My other sister, a much quieter and angrier omega, steps out, glaring at us.
“That’s Meredith.”
My alphas murmur a hello.
“The dogs are Roscoe, Bentley, Planter, Tramp, and Vicious.”
“Vicious?” Vale asks with a grin I can feel.
“She’s the friendliest of the five.”
“How many siblings do you have?”
“Three, my brother will be here soon.”
Somehow, despite all our training, Cyn has circumnavigated the dogs training and now has him on his back, rolling around and making cute whimpering noises while his tail dusts the grass.
“Oh, look, he’s a bitch tamer,” Meg says with a wink.
I go bright red and curse her to the bowels of hell.
Dakota wanders over to stand beside my dad, helping him with the grill, while Rory takes up charming my mother.
They have divided, and they have conquered.
“I’m HOME!”
I whirl with a squeal and fly into Mark’s arms. He’s an alpha with a more relaxed vibe than I’ve ever felt before from any other alpha. He’s like a comfort blanket, and the omegas love him for it.
“I brought a friend.”
“Oh?”
The friend turns the corner and smiles wickedly, and I let out another squeal and fly towards him and into his embrace. He’s tall and lanky with long black hair and lots of tattoos.
I met Pix when I found him on the street and brought him home one day. He and my brother have been best friends ever since. And where my brother is a comfort blanket, Pix is like deep diving into something that gets your blood racing.
He’s also a male omega and practically family.
Right now, I don’t want him here or anywhere near my alphas.
“What are you doing here?” I whisper urgently to Pix.
He just scrapes his messy black hair out of his face and winks at me. He’s not conventionally handsome, but he’s striking, and his dark brown eyes that turn into honey in the light are full of intelligence and mischief.
“Pix, please, don’t-”
“This is Pix,” my brother says happily. “He met our Bonnie and followed her home and has been part of our family ever since.”
My alphas converge on them, sensing the threat. But just when I expect them to do something, Vale holds out his hand.
“So, glad to meet you.”
