Chapter 28
Justice
It wasn’t as easy to get to Bishop as Justice had hoped for. Bishop was a man that didn’t really act like a man, but he had people around him that kept an eye on him. Justice was sure that there was something to it, but he tried not to let it get to him. He tried to focus on getting the job done for Ben, so that he could go be with Allie. It was all that mattered to him.
Bishop was hard to get a hold of, but the good news was that he was an asshole, so finding people to roll on him wasn’t that bad. Like most people that were born into money, wealth and power, Bishop had used his over the years to do whatever he wanted. His kinks were many in number and severe in complication. Justice didn’t want to deal with him, but he had to get down in the muck of it all to find the information he was looking for.
Justice finally found it, when he met up with an old lover of Bishop’s. Justice wanted to believe that he would be able to get to him easily after that. He paid Kristian a large sum of money to lure Bishop to him. He didn’t mind turning his back on Bishop. He wasn’t treated right, and Justice heard far more than he wanted to. It was easier to kill him, without knowing how vile he was. At some point the more he heard about him, the more he wanted to walk away. He knew that death would be too easy for a guy like Bishop. He already hated the guy for what he had done to Allie. He wasn’t going to be able to pretend like none of it happened.
When the night was finally there, he was ready. Bishop’s lover was meeting him at a hotel, and it was going to be the perfect time for Justice to get into it with him. He wanted to wait until the man’s pants were down and he was balls deep in his lover. Then, Justice would be able to end it quickly and then it would be done. He wasn’t too keen on killing in general, but he knew very well that some people just needed to die. Bishop was one of those guys and he didn’t feel a moment of sadness for what he had to do next.
Justice walked into the darkened house and listened for a moment. He didn’t hear anything, but something told him to slow down. He had a bad feeling all of a sudden, and it hit him like a shot. Justice wondered then how much he could trust Kristian. He said that he hated Bishop, but maybe he didn’t. They had been on and off for years, like a sugar-daddy to him more than anything. Justice wasn’t sure what he was supposed to believe, but he knew that nothing else was going to make him see reason.
Instead of doing things the way that he had planned, Justice decided to change things up. He came from a different way, and he saw the two men making sounds of pleasure, but they weren’t doing anything. They were waiting for him with guns and Justice had an idea of what had happened. He had underestimated the hold that good money could have on a young man. He obviously loved Bishop far more than he should have.
Justice came in the other way, behind them, and he took no pleasure in ending them both. He wasn’t in the mood to talk it through or work anything out. He was done with all of it and Justice had known that the sooner he got Bishop out of the way, the sooner he would be able to go somewhere else. It wasn’t hard to pretend like things were going to happen now that he had done his part. He took his souvenir, a sad addition that Ben had made because he didn’t trust Justice anymore, and Justice was going to be on his way. He didn’t understand why it had turned out that way, but Justice didn’t care. He was ready to go home, now that he was done, and he was ready to get Allie in his arms. She would go into labor at any time and Justice refused to be away from her a second longer than he had to.
He raced back to Ben, his gruesome orders followed. Justice knew that it was all good now. Ben was many things, but he was a man of his word and Justice knew that he would do exactly what he said he was going to do.

When Justice got to Ben’s office, he was ready to get to the best part of his day. He wanted Allie back in his arms and since he had done what he was supposed to, it was time for him to get his reward. Allie was the prize, she always had been, even if he didn’t understand it until it was too late. It was true, a man didn’t understand what he had until it was gone. As soon as Allie was out of his life, Justice knew in that moment that he wasn’t going to be able to live without her. It had made him know for sure what he felt for her.
“Come in,” Justice heard a voice from the other side of the door. It was Ben, but he sounded different, off in a way that Justice couldn’t quite put his finger on. He was surprised to see the state of his Alpha. Ben looked like he hadn’t slept in a week.
“What is it?” Justice asked. He didn’t know what was going on, but he had a feeling that it was about Allie. Why else would Ben be so upset? It was just a feeling that he had and though he didn’t know what to do, Justice wanted to make it better. He had to get that sinking feeling out of his stomach. What was going on there?
“It’s Allie…”
Justice didn’t want to hear that. He shook his head and said that he didn’t. “Come on, Ben, we had a deal. I dealt with Bishop, and you said that you were going to let me see her.” He was practically shouting, but he was too pent up feeling to not let it out how it came.
“You don’t understand, Justice. Sit down.”
“I don’t want to sit down.”
Ben cut his eyes up to him. “You forget yourself, but I will let it slide this time. Sit down and let’s talk like civilized men.”
Justice could tell that something was direly wrong. He’d never been treated like an equal before. Justice liked the gesture, maybe there was hope for it all afterwards, but there was something more to it.
“She’s gone.”
Justice had just sat down, and he was already up again. “What do you mean she is gone? She is about to go into labor at any time!”
Ben was still in his seat. He was sipping a drink and handed one to Justice. “She has been taken by Bishop’s people, and they don’t know he is dead yet. Right now, they just want money. I figure it is a side deal they are trying to get, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t have my sister.” Ben was grimacing, and Justice wanted to hit him.
“They came in here and took her?”
Ben shook his head in disagreement. “Come on, you know my sister. She was convinced that I had gone against my word and done something to you, so she did all she could to find you. She got away and I know she was picked up after that. Where she is, I have no idea.”
“What do you need me to do?” Justice asked without a second thought. He would do anything that was needed to keep her safe, anything.
“It's pretty simple, man. We’ve got to find her and bring her back. They want money, so I'm going to pull somebody out and then we will meet with them. From there, who knows what's going to happen next.”
It was obviously what he thought was going to happen, and Justice really didn't know what to say about it. He tried to focus on something else, anything else but the fact that Allie had been taken. Justice mentioned again that she was ready to pop in her pregnancy and her brother cursed, saying that he knew. It didn't seem like there was much that he could do about it though. Justice could feel the helplessness seeping out of him, which was likely what was coming out of his body as well. He felt like nothing was going to be the same with Allie not being there. It hit him like a ton of bricks.
Now what?
The two guys quickly came up with a plan. They contacted the people that had Allie and said that they would meet them. Justice wasn't mentioned, but he was certainly going to be there. There was no way that he was going to be able to let it go. Whoever was stupid enough to try and hurt Allie, deserved everything that they got. Justice wished that he could go back and kill Bishop again. The man deserved it.
