“What in the fuck are you doing?” I fought back a shiver.
“Shut up pretty boy and dance,” she smiled up at me tightly.
Whatever fucking game she was playing, Dani had plans of winning. Chyna and Paul were giving us looks but I avoided their gaze.
“What is your emotional damage, lady? Like did I run over your dog or something.”
She gave a little chuckle.
“When are you going to tell her?”
A lump had formed itself in my throat and my mouth was dry. I had no idea what in the hell this woman was talking about. It was starting to feel so hot in the Odyssey and I wondered if they’d cranked up the heat in this place. Hell, it even seemed to be darker inside of this place if that were even possible. The music continued and I wondered if this song would ever stop…the beat had become dizzying.
“Dani…I’m not sure what I did to you…”
“Shut up pretty boy,” her hand had become a vice grip on mine.
Where in the fuck is Silver?
“It’s not what you did to me,” I stared down on her.
This bitch is crazy.
With easy movements, I swung her out and away from me in a dance move. The beat was still winding over us and I had no choice. It was either dance or cause a scene. I didn’t want to bring attention to myself.
“It’s who you fucked….so I’ll ask you again. When do you plan on telling Silver you fucked her best friend?”
“What?”
We froze in our movements. My back had been turned and I’d gotten caught up in trying to finish this insanely sadistic movement of body’s with the psycho assistant.
Silver’s voice washed over me, and Dani clapped her hands in glee and stepped back to watch the carnage unfold.
“Sil….”
She held up her finger, “What is Dani talking about?”
All eyes were on us and Paul and Chyna came over.
“I can explain…” Panic was filling my voice.
Damn did they turn up the heat in this place.
“Explain what?” Paul was the first to ask.
Goddamn, this was not how tonight was supposed to go, I thought.
Silver’s eyes were brimming with tears, and I watched as her brown eyes shifted between both Chyna and I.
The urge to vomit hit me. This was happening in such a public space. In mere moments Silver swished out of the restaurant and Dani came up beside me.
“You’re an idiot,” she smiled.
“Stay the fuck away from us!” I shouted and headed after Silver.
Everyone followed me out of the restaurant and Chyna went to her side.
“Babe, what in the hell is going on?” Chyna touched Silver’s shoulder but her hand was knocked away.
