“You seemed a million miles away.”

I nodded. “Thinking about…”

Taking a deep breath, I noticed blue and yellow lights illuminating the Ferris wheel. Capturing Silver’s hand, I pulled her towards the line full of waiting customers. She seemed reluctant.

“Heights,” she bit her bottom lip.

“Hey,” I smiled down on her giving her hand a little squeeze. “I’d never let you fall.”

“Yeah probably because your ass would be doing the pushing,” she snapped. “I’m not sure I want to go on this thing.”

“Let me show you that you have nothing to be afraid of.”

She rolled her eyes in response. Her palm felt sweaty but there was no way I was going to let go. She didn’t speak again until the sliver bar had been slid into place and the ride began to gently rock as we started to ascend.

“Why did I let you talk me into this?”

I chuckled and admitted. “This feels really good.”

Silver refused to peer over the edge, her eyes squeezed shut. “This doesn’t feel good and I hate you.”

“That’s not what you’ve been saying for the last few nights.”

Leaning over I whispered into her ear.

“You’ve been taking this dick like a champ, Sassy.”

That did it. Her eyes flew open and she stared at me.

“Thatta girl,” I grinned. “Now look around slowly, but don’t overwhelm yourself.”

Her breath hitched in her throat as she took my directions. I watched as her hand gripped the bar and I took my chance to have my fingers dance down in between her legs. She had on tights that clung to her pussy.

“Stop,” she bit out. “What are you doing?”

The Ferris wheel was slowly beginning its descent but we had plenty of time. No one would really here her scream in ecstasy because there was too much noise.

Silver squirmed against my fingers and I knew I was bumping her clit.

“I have things planned for you this evening.”

She moaned at my words and I couldn’t wait to be able to enter her. The last few nights with Silver had been magical. Being with her was like watching a tornado form over the open plains. The feelings that I felt in my chest caused my heart to constrict.

“I’ve loved you since elementary school,” I whispered.

She looked over, surprise waltzed onto her face.

Sheepishly, I looked away the heat of her gaze caused my skin to go warm. Playing in front of millions of people, there was no pressure. Being under Silver’s intense brown eyed gaze was a different story. Everything about her was exciting and new and whatever it was that we had started between us, I wanted it very much.

“Loved me?”

I nodded just as the Ferris wheel was beginning to come to a stop and our ride was over. We exited hand in hand, and Silver smiled widely.

“I think I can appreciate that,” she said as we walked away.

The crowd was starting to thin as we made our way to the car. This had been one of the single best night’s I’d had in a long while. Everything had been perfect down to the weather.

“You know I’m sorry you didn’t make the play offs,” Silver said once we were in the car.
