“Was he pissed?”
Liza leans against the frame of the door to look at Sofia Rose. She crosses her arms under her breasts.
Sofia Rose blushes the soft purple blush again and shakes her head. She turns away from Liza to look at the screen.
“Well?”
Sofia Rose ignores her for a few minutes, thinking of Niko. Her blush deepens into a darker purple, closing her eyes. The feelings that he ignited rush through her body, setting her on fire.
She raises her hands to her hot flushed face and glances over at her friend.
“Yeah, he was. He was furious, and I was so annoyed that he wouldn’t listen to me that I told him that I resigned!”
Her violet eyes glow and the silver specks flash, matching her heartbeat.
“Wow, Sofia Rose! What happened that has you so worked up?”
“What do you mean worked up? I’m just pissed off!”
“Yeah, okay. You’re pissed off, so tell me what happened.”
Sofia Rose’s blush turns a deeper shade of purple and she closes her eyes. She walks over to the window to look out into the town’s square.
“He kissed me!”
She rests her head forehead against the cold window pane, closing her eyes.
“Dang! That’s hot! Imagine your emotions so intense that you feel this passion!”
“He’s my hearts desire!”
“Dang! Thy heart’s desire? Fuck, that’s incredible!”
“No, don’t be so happy,” yells Sofia Rose, turning around to glare at her.
“Why not?”
“Mr Bartz acted like he did a mistake and pushed away from me. He raised this huge wall between us. I felt it.”
Sofia Rose’s eyes fill with tears and she blinks rapidly to keep them at bay. She walks over to the desk to finish her task.
“Hey, don’t worry. He’s not going to be able to resist the pull.”
Sofia Rose glances over at her, raising her right eyebrow.
“Really? That is why?”
“Geeze, trust me, just trust me.”
Andrei walks into the bank’s foyer and stands at the side of the door, monitoring the transactions. He monitors each teller and then looks at the guard.
He frowns, reading his aura, pressing his lips in a straight line. He raises his face to look at the television monitors to watch the guard’s face.
Ah, right, he’s a shadow. I don’t see many of them around in earth realm. They usually stay in their world. I wonder why he’s here. How long has he been here? I need to look into this.
Andrei inhales, shudders, and urgently turns towards the enticing scent. He squints his eyes as he focuses on Liza’s sweet face, his eyes travel slowly down her neck, and stop to enjoy the soft curve of her round breasts. He shifts his position against the wall, holding back the moan.
