Niko grins, and leans in closer.
“Darling, I wish you could,” says Niko. He takes her left hand to kiss it softly on the rest.
“Oh, I’ll be happy to assist you anytime,” whispers Mimi, looking into his beautiful mint green eyes.
Niko laughs, releases her hand, and flicks her turned up nose.
“Mimi, be a dear and get us some whiskey.”
Mimi sighs, nods, and pushes off the counter. She takes a few steps and turns to look over her shoulder to see if he was looking at her ass.
Oh yeah, he wants me but why does he leave? Well, I’ll work harder because he’s one fine vhampier.She bites her lip and turns around to get the whiskey.
Niko watches her ass, and then looks up into her eyes. He smiles and turns to look at Alastor.
Alastor shakes his head, laughing at Niko, and winks at Andrei.
“Right, you’re busy.”
Niko shrugs and looks over at Andrei, frowning when he sees Prince Maximillian at the table across the room. He leans in closer to Alastor to whisper, “Hey dude, the firewall is weak. Some of the supernatural accounts have been drained.” Niko takes the glass of whiskey.
Alastor turns to glare at him. “What the fuck! I didn’t think it was that bad. We know that the firewall is weak,” says Alastor.
“What does that mean?”
“Well, the technology on the earth realm is slowing draining the shield and therefore weakens our firewalls.”
“What the fuck! Why didn’t you warn me?”
“Yeah, I fixed it, but you and I know that my power is only a preventive firewall. The Trintas’ power is what safeguards all of the supernatural in the earth realm.”
“Yeah, that’s what we’re trying to figure out. We’re going to enlist the special forces on the earth realm to help maintain the firewall strong. We’re working on that,” says Alastor.
Niko raises his right hand and grabs his neck. Slowly, he rubs the ache at the base of his head, closing his eyes.
I’m so fucking stressed out! I have too much on my plate! I still need to locate my bride! Damn it!
“How long do we have before it caves in again?” asks Andrei, glancing over at Prince Maximillian.
Niko opens his glowing eyes, looking over at Andrei. He shakes his head.
“We need to get back to the bank. Let’s finish what we need to do because I have to take care of my other errand. It sounds like everything is under control for now.”
“Yes, I believe so. I’ll advise you when this happens again. I need to get going,” says Alastor.
Sofia Rose turns to look at Liza as she walks into her office. She stands to stretch, grimacing at her. She gathers her dark long hair into a wild bun with a deep purple scrunchie.
“I thought Mr Bartz would be here and I don’t see him. I’m here early so I wouldn’t miss him,” says Liza, frowning.
“Well, don’t worry because he said that he will be back. I got here early. Well, I thought it was early! He was already here and that was at four in the morning!”
“Wow, that is early. Dang!”
Liza shakes her head and looks at Sofia Rose’s soft purple blush.
Oh wow, she feels something for Mr Bartz. I know she does because she only flashes her purple blush when she’s in love. That’s what I was told by the fairy seer. Damn it! It’s been so long since she told me that I thought it must be a myth. I’ve never seen her blush purple before. Wow!
“Well, I need you to take care of anything that arises in the bank. I have to take care of these accounts. Mr. Bartz wants me to add the extra firewall shield to each one. I don’t know if that is needed, but hey I do what I’m told.”
