Liza walks pass Andrei, focusing on the paperwork in her hands and stops when she turns the corner. A warm soft caress runs over her lips, and a spicy scent invades her senses. She looks up and looks over her shoulder, wide-eyed.
I felt a strange warm caress. Wow, I’m crazy. That scent is sexy as hell. How odd. I don’t see anyone behind me. I must be crazy.
Liza shrugs, turns, and walks into the hallway. She walks down the hall, swaying her hips softly and seductively, taking small steps.
Her dark burgundy hair reaches halfway down her waist in a thick braid that swings softly across her back with each step.
Andrei closes his dark green eyes to control the crazy need to take her into his arms.
Fuck, this is crazy. I can’t chase her. Damn, I don’t understand the pull here. I know Niko feels it too.
I wonder what’s going on. I mean, why did Niko send me to follow up? It’s fucking odd that he sent me. It’s like he wants to run away from our little manager. This is fucking interesting!
Andrei turns to look down the hallway at the back manager’s office. He slowly smiles as he watches Sofia Rose stand to stretch her arms up to the ceiling, raising her full firm breasts.
The afternoon is a little slow in the bank. Only a couple of customers wait in line to deposit. Andrei stands at the end of the counter, monitoring the tellers. He looks over at Liza as she leaves to go to her office. Her soft spicy rose peach scent assaults his senses. He shudders, grinds his jaw, and closes his eyes until she passes.
A few minutes later he glances over at the Shade and nods. The Shade nods back and crosses his huge arms in front of his chest.
Liza exits the small office and walks down the hall to talk to Sofia Rose, rubbing the lotion in her hands. She walks into the office and closes the door. She adjusts her hair.
“Sofia Rose, it is lunch time. I ordered some of those sandwiches from the deli.”
Sofia Rose glances at Liza, nodding. She continues to type.
“That sounds delicious, Liza.”
Liza walks over to Sofia Rose and stands next to the desk, smiling. She adjusts her skirt and blouse.
Sofia Rose enters the password to lock the PC so she can have lunch.
“Great, I’m starving. I hope that Mr. Bartz lets us be for a few! He has me on pins and needles. Mr. Bartz scent is making me crazy.”
Liza sits in the chair in front of Sofia Rose’s desk. She leans forward, placing her elbows on the desk and her chin in her hand. She watches Sofia Rose.
“We need to talk. I feel it is time that you tell me who I am and where I’m from. I’m tired of not knowing and now these feelings are strong. I know that you know why.”
Liza’s huge golden brown eyes shimmer, and she leans back in the chair, closing her eyes.
Oh fuck, is it time? All the signs indicate that it is and that Mr. Bartz is her heart’s desire. The purple aura is glowing even now.
Liza opens her eyes to check her aura, nodding. She bites her lower lip.
“Tell me, Liza. Tell me about me and about you.”
Sofia Rose leans forward to listen to her every word. She grins; her eyes squint to focus on her aura.
“Oh Liza, I can see your soft pink aura. It’s beautiful.”
Liza purses her lips and closes her eyes to think about it one more minute.
What if it is not so? It has to be time. I have to believe it is so. I’m telling her. I feel Andrei deep in my soul and that must be how Sofia Rose feels about Nikolaos.
My aura is glowing? Fuck, that means that Andrei is my soulmate. I understand that is why our aura’s glow brighter. Damn it! Does he feel it? Does Mr. Nikolaos Bartz feel Sofia Rose?
Liza leans forward, placing her arms on the desk. They’re facing each other. Her huge golden brown shimmer and silver specks flash erratically.
“Sofia Rose, it is very important that you hear me out. You’re a very important being in our realm. You’re an Elemental Princess that I’m responsible to shield from harm until it is time.”
