But I was the first to really taste her.
Take that, fucker.
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
COLE
Gabe and I stand outside the pantry for far too long, listening to Margo scream out Marcus’s name. Gabe looks down at the floor the whole time, bracing himself against the wall with one hand.
I just stare at the closed door, my jaw tightening.
But even as my stomach churns with jealousy, my dick plumps in my slacks. Jesus fuck, the way she sounds.
Gabe’s phone starts to trill in his back pocket.
“Oh thank Christ,” he mutters, and all but sprints out the back door to take the call.
Marcus opens the pantry door and I’ve never seen him smile so wide in all my life.
Bastard.
Did he fuck her? Finger her? Eat her out?
I want to know everything. I don’t want to know anything at all.
Margo walks out next, steadying herself on the doorjamb when her legs shake.
Damn Marcus to hell.
Her face is flushed, her dark eyes glassy and unfocused.
She looks fucking gorgeous. Delectable, even.
Marcus stares right at me and I ignore him.
“Mierda,” she curses suddenly, slapping her hand against her forehead. “I forgot a box back at Sugar & Coal. The pastry liners.”
A grin spreads across my face.
“Oh? Marcus can go get them. Can’t you, Marcus?”
I slowly move my gaze to his and his face goes stony, grin fading.
“Sure,” he grinds out.
Margo pulls out a keyring from her purse on the counter. I notice her legs are bare. It’s barely forty degrees outside.
Fucking Marcus.
Margo hands Marcus the keys, biting her lip just briefly.
I look away.
When I look back up, Marcus leans down, staring right at me, and murmurs something unintelligible in Margo’s ear.
She lets out a little gasp and if he didn’t outweigh me by fifty pounds, I’d hit him.
Marcus’s grin returns and he walks out the back door. I glance toward it, watching as it swings shut.
