Amber had moved a little closer, and I stared at her. But Vivienna wasn't finished yet.
“Gloria is the only person allowed to talk about him, and the only thing she keeps asking herself is how he, of all Quatura, could have fucked Margot.”

I felt the ice spreading beneath me, and out of the corner of my eye I noticed Grace staring at me, her gaze full of... fear? The same fear that trembled in my chest and gradually drowned in disgust.
“Such a weak Quatura... with her Quatura son.”
“Vivienna...” Kelly gasped behind her, but Vivienna was too focused on finishing me off to notice that the ice that had spread across the floor beneath us was now creeping up the walls.
“Your mother's weakness and your non-existent father... Everything suggests that you shouldn't even exist.”
The anger inside me accelerated the process, and I saw Grace recoil as the kitchen counter became covered in ice and sharp crystals appeared.
The water in the pot stopped boiling.
“Vivi...” Amber sounded disturbed.
“We'll keep an eye on you.” Vivienna stepped closer and I clenched my fists. “And we'll tyrannize your life until you break down. Like her.”
Somewhere in the room, there was an unmistakable crack.
Vivienna froze.
Now she too seemed to realize what she had done to me.
She backed away to her friends.
“Fuck, her eyes! Do you want to die?! Why didn't you pay attention?!” Amber hissed without taking her eyes off me.
“Because Vivienna likes to cross other people's boundaries,” I replied tonelessly, feeling nothing but coldness inside me and around me. And something else. I felt powerful.
There was a certain pleasure in observing those who had perpetually caused me pain suddenly cower.
A deep satisfaction flowed through my body and mingled with the uncontrollable rage.
I clenched my fists even tighter, and the crackling of ice crystals trailing a long path to Vivienna made Kelly scream.
Sharp ice shot out of the ground.
The girls stumbled back simultaneously.
“You've gone crazy!” Kelly continued to scream, and the hint of a smile spread across my lips.
I liked this game.
Standing still, I just stared at them, feeling the ice above me crack more and more. It had covered the entire ceiling.
The power pulsing through my veins seemed to multiply as soon as my element completely surrounded me. It was as if I had created a territory that nothing and no one could invade.
“Why is she staring at us like that...”
Kelly's eyes were wide.
I intensified my gaze, and Kelly backed away even further.
