“I love you too,” she panted. Her chest bounced with every thrust of my cock. It wasn’t long before we were both reaching that crescendo, and a final pump sent us both over the edge.

“So about that…”

The first six months of our marriage passed by in a blur of lovemaking, but it was too good to stay that way. “Where is my wife?”

“She’s out with her friend, Cassie.” I nodded, remembering she was one of the ones who defied everyone and helped my wife elude me.

“Thanks, Pio.” I left the casino on a mission to find her. She had a tracker in her phone and in the tennis bracelet on her wrist. With a quick check, she was at the Fashion Show Mall. Her tracker needed to work a little harder. The place had way too many boutiques. I dialed her number, but it went to voicemail.

I called her security. “Where the hell are you, and where is my wife?”

“She’s inside Saks with her friend. They went to the dressing rooms.”

“Okay. Keep an eye on them. I’ll be there shortly.”

“Understood.” She wasn’t as fast as she used to be, but my rabbit couldn’t outrun me with her growing belly. Five months pregnant, and she had a basketball for a belly these days. I had to rub it as I cuddled her. If I thought I found her sexy before, being pregnant added a whole extra dimension to my arousal.

It only took me ten minutes to walk from the casino to the mall. I tried my wife again, but she didn’t answer. She was catching a nice spanking. The moment I reached the Saks entrance, I nearly lost it. A prick had my wife by her wrist. Her guard approached, but I waved him off.

“Let me go,” she yelled, attempting to pull her wrist away.

I was handling it. No one, and I meant no one, laid a hand on my wife. “Let go of her,” I commanded, voice tight and low.

“Gio,” Mariana called out in a mix of fear and relief.

The wide eyes of her assailant was none other than her brother—the bastard I wanted dead. “It seems you haven’t learned shit, you pest. I gave you a chance to survive because you had something I wanted. That ends now.”

“Walk Mr. Rosetti out of the mall and make sure he gets home,” I told my soldier.

“What?” he asked as if stunned I was letting his bullshit go.

I leaned in and whispered, “Did you think I’d do something to you with a bunch of witnesses?”

“I was just having a conversation with my sister.”

I scoffed. “No, you were holding onto her wrist tight enough to make her yelp and tell you to let her go.”

“Get him out of here before I forget we have an audience.” Louie dragged him by his collar out of the mall. I turned my attention to my wife. “Are you okay, little rabbit?”

“Yes,” she uttered, but the red mark on her wrist pissed me off.

“Are you done shopping, or do you ladies need more time?”

She blushed, holding one bag. “We had plans to hit two more stores.”

I snatched the bag from her hands. “Then I’ll walk with you.”

“You don’t have to take time out of your day to keep me company.”

“I’ll do anything to keep you safe and comfortable.” I leaned in and asked again, “Are you sure you’re okay?” She shook her head, tears welling in her soft, round eyes.

“Girl, we don’t need to keep shopping.”

“I just…”
