So do I.

I nod. “Yes. I like you.”

Dalton spins me around to face him, his gaze intense as he cradles my face in one hand, searching my eyes. “You do?”

“Yes,” I whisper, leaning up on my tip toes to press my lips to his. He responds instantly, welding me to his body as he deepens the kiss and keeps us swaying to the music. Heat rushes through me and I moan against his lips. “I wish we were alone right now.”

“Later, baby,” he whispers in between kisses. “There will be time for that later.”

He releases me, sliding one hand in my hair as we stay glued to each other and grinding against each other in the middle of the dance floor. It’s probably obscene but I can’t even bring myself to care at this point.

This feels good.

He feels good.

I can feel the bulge in his jeans pressing against me and I whimper, snaking my hand between our bodies to rub against it and he groans, rolling his forehead across mine.

“Lennon, baby,” he pleads but doesn’t stop me. “You’re going to drive me crazy.”

I shake my head. “No, I’m gonna make you feel good.”

“Sweetheart, we’re in the middle of a crowd.”

I jerk back at his words and look around at the very busy club, a startled laugh bursting out of me. “Oh, oops.”

“Oops?” he asks, shaking his head at me but he has a smile on his face. “That’s what you have to say to that?”

I throw my arms over his shoulders and begin to dance again. Leaning up, I nip at his ear lobe and whisper, “I’ll make it up to you later.”

He groans and pulls me closer, keeping us moving. “You’re going to be the death of me.”

“Death by orgasm,” I say, laughing loudly at my own joke and a grin breaks through his faux stern expression.

“Death by blue balls.”

A giggle spills out of me at the thought and Dalton stares down at me, a soft smile on his face, before he leans down and kisses me.

“I love the sound of your laugh.”

Heat rushes to my cheeks. “I love your smile.”

“Oh, do you?” he asks, arching a brow. “You’re full of confessions tonight.”

I blink up at him.

He’s right.

I’ve been saying all sorts of things to him that I normally would keep to myself. I let out a groan.

Oh hell.

I think that vodka cranberry hit me harder than I thought it would.

It’s been a while since I drank so I guess I’m a lightweight now.

His hand cradles my face again and he brushes his thumb across my cheek. “Don’t stop. I like it.”

“Okay,” I whisper, nodding and he steals another kiss before we go back to dancing. I lose myself in the music, allowing myself to just turn my brain off and feel. Feel Dalton, feel the music, feel the energy of this place. I’m so glad Dalton called and invited Morgan and me out tonight. This is exactly what I needed and I haven’t felt this alive or carefree in so damn long.
