No.

Fuck this.

I need to get to my girl.

Closing the remaining distance between us, I try to shove past him when arms grab me from behind and I turn, swinging my fist without a second thought. It lands with a satisfying thwack and then Jumper falls back into the gravel. He blinks up at me and his eyes widen.

Shit.

“Jump,” I murmur, unsure of what else to say. I’ve never hit one of my brothers like that. He jumps back up and gets in my face, his eye already starting to swell.

“You’re going to go hit the bag until you feel better and you aren’t gonna say shit about it,” he growls. It’s rare to see this side of Jumper and it usually makes the rest of us sit up and notice. “Because you fucking owe me one now.”

“Jumper,” I say, looking over Storm’s shoulder at the road to my house. “I need…”

“You need to hit the goddamn bag. End of discussion.”

Fuck.

My skin feels tight and there is a pounding in my ears as my fingers twitch at my side, desperate to find something else…or someone else to hit.

“Yeah, okay,” I bite out, turning towards the clubhouse and walking away from them. The faster I get this shit over with, the faster I get to Lennon. That is the only damn thing I want right now.

I don’t even bother to tape up my hands when I get to the bag.

I just start hitting.

Thud.

Thud.

Thud.

My mind turns to Owen.

To the shit he said.

Thud.

Thud.

Motherfucker.

What was he going to do to her if I hadn’t been there to protect her?

Thud.

And then that shit about wanting to make sure she was okay?

After he drugged her.

Fuck no.

Thud.

Thud.

He has no fucking right to ever even think about her again.
