He stands, throwing his hands in the air before he pulls out his phone.

“I’m calling Tucker.”

“NO!”

Moe comes barreling into the back room and stops short when he sees my face.

“Darlin’,” he coos and I shake my head to stop him. He frowns.

“Will y-you take me home p-please, M-m-moe?”

“No!” Trey yells at the same time but Moe ignores him.

“Trey, watch the bar.” Moe guides me out the back doors and to the parking lot. I curse when I notice my car sitting in the lot.

“I will.”

“Are you going to tell me what happened?” he asks and I shake my head.

“I don’t want Trey and Tucker knowing and everyone knows you can’t keep a secret.”

He grins. “Ya, you got me there.” He wraps his arm around my shoulders and gives me a squeeze, a fresh wave of tears welling up in my eyes.

“Thanks, Moe.”

“Anything for you, darlin’. You’re like the daughter I never had.” I smile, immensely grateful for such wonderful people in my life.
