That’s how long it’s been since I brought a naked Greek god home from the museum.
Three days of discovering that Morpheus considers pants an insult, coffee a divine invention, and my mouth his new favorite temptation.
Unfortunately, he’s also discovered jealousy.
And he’s handling it about as well as you’d expect from an immortal who once ruled entire civilizations.
“Why is that mortal staring at you?”
I glance up from the museum catalog.
“Which mortal?”
“The blond one.”
I follow his gaze toward Ethan Marshall, one of the museum’s senior curators.
“Because he knows me?”
Morpheus folds his enormous arms across his chest.
“He desires you.”
I bite back a smile.
“Are you jealous?”
“Of him?”
“He’s pretty handsome.”
Morpheus slowly turns toward me.
“Excuse me?”
“Nice smile. Good hair. Excellent dental hygiene.”
His violet eyes narrow.
“I could remove his eyes.”
I nearly choke.
“Absolutely not!”
“He would no longer stare.”
“Because he’d be blind!”
“Precisely.”
I stare at him.
His mouth twitches.
Oh, the bastard.
“You’re enjoying this.”
