Whisper

“I’m sure.” He nods and starts to move back from the bed, but I grab his wrist. “Am I ever gonna see you again?”

“You think I’m gonna ghost you now?”

“Wouldn’t be the first time. Hand over the bussy and suddenly the allure is gone.”

With a slight smile, he brushes his thumb across my chin. “You’ll see me again. Maybe I’ll even fuck you again.”

I chew my bottom lip and nod. I want that. I’m under no illusions that I could lock down a man like Whisper, but I’ll be in his bed as long as he likes.

“Give me your phone.”

Whisper raises an eyebrow but gives it to me. I quickly program my number in and send myself a text. When I hand it back, he looks at the screen and chuckles, shaking his head.

“Best Fuck Ever as your name?”

“I put Blush in parentheses just in case you were confused, but I’m sure you’re not.”

“I love your confidence.”

If he only knew how hard I had to fight to find it. “See you around, Whisper.”

“See you, Blush.”

I watch him leave then scramble out of bed to take a quick piss and check in with my people. No messages on my phone still. I breathe out a sigh of relief then dig in my bag to find my stash.

There’s no way I’m falling asleep again, so I might as well be productive. I find my little baggie of goodies and pop a couple of pills. Stimulants help me get moving in the morning and getting fucked within an inch of my life helps me sleep.

My body is sore in lots of places and my hole is tender. I grin as I find my jeans on the floor. It’s exactly what I hoped for a month ago when I first saw Whisper.

Actually, three weeks and two days, but who’s counting.

After I finish dressing, I grab my bag and slip out of the hotel room, shuffling quietly through the hallway to the elevators. I could’ve let Whisper drive me home, but I really don’t want him to see where I live. That would kill the vibe for sure. Apparently he has roommates too though, so maybe he’s not as out of my league as he seems.

Outside, I order a ride and light a cigarette while I wait, scrolling social media for anything interesting but finding the same old shit.

Life is one big Groundhog Day lately, but at least I have a few outlets to keep things interesting. Like sinking my teeth into handsome customers from Segreto. Even though Whisper’s the first one I’ve ever hooked up with. It’s rare that a man like him shows up there. Only the guys he sits with are as hot as he is.

Cashmere is tight-lipped about Whisper and his own man, just saying I’ll learn about him if he wants me to. It’s possible they’re into illegal shit, which wouldn’t bother me anyway. It’s not like I’m an angel.

My ride pulls up a few minutes later, and after checking the plates, I hop into the back seat. There’s a woman driving, which surprises me given the time.

“Hey,” she says, her voice cheerful.

“Hello. Middle-of-the-night shift?”

She laughs softly. “Insomniac. So I make a few bucks whenever I can’t sleep.”

“No offense, but is it safe?”

She shrugs. “I have some protections in place.”

“Good. Unfortunately, you never know who you’re dealing with out here. I work in a place where there are lots of men and sometimes they get grabby, you know?”

“I used to dance, so yeah, I know. Is that what you do?”

“Yeah, burlesque. I used to strip, but this is a little classier.”

“Nice. I stopped dancing after I had my son. I miss the money, but that’s it.”
