“She kissed you?” he asked, his brow furrowing.

“She kissed me,” I confirmed. “I kissed her back, but the names she’d been moaning in her sleep weren’t just mine.”

Spencer made a mortified sound and fell forward into my chest, hiding her face.

Mad went still. “What do you mean?”

Luck pushed himself fully upright, blanket pooling around his waist. His mismatched eyes were suddenly very awake. “Oh, really?”

“She said Keith’s, mine, Mad’s, and Luck’s,” I told them with a grin I couldn’t even try to wipe off my face. “Very sexy dream, clearly.”

Spencer pushed back off me and looked at us, cheeks flushed and eyes wide. “I love Keith. I’m still grieving him, but…” Her voice shook. “I have feelings for all three of you, too. I’m tired of pretending I don’t.”

My chest tightened. “I was hoping you would say that.”

“Really?” Luck’s eyes widened in surprise. “All three of us?”

“I…yes.”

Mad didn’t say anything. He just sat there, staring at Spencer like she’d said something he couldn’t comprehend.

Spencer’s shoulders drew inward slightly, and the confidence that had put her mouth on mine faltered. “Mad?” she whispered.

He flinched. Then, he threw the blanket off him. “I need to piss.” The words came out too loud and too abrupt.

He grabbed his clothes with clumsy hands, yanking on his pants faster than necessary. His shirt got caught for a second, and he swore under his breath before forcing his arms through. He wouldn’t look at any of us.

“Mad,” Luck said carefully.

“I’m fine.”

He was very much not fucking fine, and we all knew it.

He shoved his feet into his boots, grabbed his axe, opened the gate, and disappeared out of the store before any of us could stop him.

The metal gate rattled after him, the sound sharp in the quiet.

Spencer stared after him, all the color draining from her face. “Is he mad?”

“I think he’s surprised,” Luck answered slowly.

I looked toward the gate where Mad had vanished, my jaw tightening. Surprised was one word for it. Terrified was probably more likely.

“It’s shocking, to be honest,” Luck continued, voice softer now. “I mean, I have feelings for you. I have for a while. I just thought you needed time to grieve Keith. I never thought you would reciprocate my feelings.”

Spencer’s eyes filled with guilt and hope all tangled together. “I love Keith with all my heart, but I have feelings for you, too. All of you. It’s not just because you helped save my life. I’ve really gotten to know you three over the past two months, and I tried not to like you, but I can’t help it. I do. I know Keith would want me to be happy, and life is too short for regrets.”

“But all of us?” Luck asked again.

I rolled my eyes. “Obviously.” Then I leaned in and kissed her again, slower this time. Our lips moved softly against each other. “I don’t mind that,” I murmured against her mouth. “I’m in. I want you, Spencer.”

“I want Spencer, too,” Luck whispered.

Her gaze trailed toward where Mad had gone. “But did I just ruin things with him?”

“No,” Luck said.

“No,” I agreed, though I was watching the entrance since he’d left the gate open.
