The waters were boiling.

The two behind us laughed nervously, thinking the sudden display was due in part to our impairment. “Dude, they are totally faded!” I heard them hoot.

Perhaps, those guys were right. I was feeling the effects of all my choices. My head was light and I felt as though I was watching my body from above. My blood reverberated beneath my skin. But Silas and I knew what we were doing. The initial shock of my successful tease had worn off, and I became very aware of our shift in surroundings. We crushed against the smooth wall of cinder block that I knew so well, the cold concrete sending a shock into my back. Silas’s chest pressed hard against my own, our bodies entangling and meshing. I ran my hand through his hair, yanking his bun free, and felt him grunt against my mouth. His kisses grew more demanding, desperate and aggressive. Without warning, he bit my bottom lip like an animal, drawing blood. I released an almost inaudible gasp. My heart quickened and time froze.

The pain was delicious.

We broke for air, and he admired his handiwork: the thin line of red dripping towards my chin. His chest heaved, and his eyes darted from my bitten lip to my widened eyes.

“Do you know how long I’ve wanted to do that?” he admitted throatily.

I couldn’t speak. I was barely getting enough air as it was. I flushed at the thought of how I must look—hair tousled and carnal.

Ever so slowly, Silas leaned back in, dragging his tongue across the trail of blood before returning his lips to my mouth. My lip was already beginning to swell, but I kissed back, despite the throbbing. The taste of iron mixed with our saliva.

Holy fuck.

I doubted my choice to provoke him. It was becoming clear that this was more than a simple crush.

This was desire.

Silas wanted me and I had more than poked the bear.

My mind started to wander, and abruptly, I became keener to the shadows engulfing us, the silence of the outside world, and how the roads were devoid of people, cars, and noise. The street lamp in the alley way was the only source of light, and a low humming sound emitted from the half lit bulb. Apart from that, the only music in the dead of night was Silas and me scuffling, pushing, and rasping against each other as if we had never fucked anything before.

Silas forced my head backwards, launching an attack on my neck with his mouth. A soft moan escaped my lips. The feeling was exquisite. Through his jeans, I could feel the strain of his erection. His free hand strayed from my face to my chest, my hips, and then…

A voice rang through my innermost conscience.

“Let me see what you’ve got there…”

My eyes shot open, like someone pulled a trigger, and I pushed Silas away roughly. The reaction happened almost instantaneously, shocking even myself.

“Enough,” I ordered, my hands pressed firmly against his shoulders. My arms stayed stretched outward, keeping him at bay. Our breaths were ragged and shallow, filling the silence of the night around us. My chest felt heavy. What had just come over me?

Silas’s eyes were wide with shock, one of his hands still grasping onto the back of my neck and the other, on my left wrist. His grip was iron, and I couldn’t break away. We were at a standstill, him trying to bridge the space between us, and me, attempting to flee.

“Enough?” Silas repeated, as if he couldn’t believe the word I used.

I nodded cautiously, trying to maneuver out of his grasp as I did so. My heart pounded. The space between seemed compacted, and I kept hearing that voice echoing in my ears. My brain had thrust me into flight mode, without warning.

I clenched my eyes shut, trying to force the creeping memory out of my head. This memory haunted me.

And Silas had triggered it somehow.

A wave of sickness flooded through me. Soon, I would be dispelling more than just the memory if I didn’t get the fuck out of here.

“I have to go...” I murmured softly, judging my position, looking for a way out. I felt suffocated.

With an angry growl, Silas slammed me back into the wall, chips of the hard slab flaking off and falling into my hair from the force of it. The air rushed out of my lungs.

“You have to go...and leave me so unsatisfied?” Silas hissed into my ear.

The world spun, but I managed not to slip into the murk of my own head. The emptiness in my pockets where I reached at times like this was uninviting. I wished I had another smoke.

“I could take you right here, right now,” Silas threatened. “And you’d love it.”

I couldn’t help but smile at the absurdity of my predicament. Silas didn’t have the balls to rape me. And he was probably right; I would enjoy fucking him. However, if our little encounter was leaked, it wouldn’t be good for either of our reputations. His especially. By the look in his blazing eyes, he knew it too. All he wanted was to seduce me into going home and sleeping with him.
