“The feeling is mutual. I love you, O.”
“I love you too, Dad.”
I swallowed the emotions rising in my throat. I wasn’t sure what I’d done to be blessed with all the second chances in my life, but all I could do was thank God. Despite what had happened, life had never been better.

MOYA COLLIER
TWO MONTHS LATER . . .
Irubbed my small stomach, intently watching the movers as they hauled my things to the truck. Once again, Shea had put his foot down and demanded Ocean and I officially move in with him. I agreed with no hesitation. Truthfully, it was a no-brainer. I hadn’t left since the robbery, and there was no place I’d rather be than with him.
The feeling of his arms wrapping around me, and his hands palming my stomach put my entire body at ease. I rested my head against his shoulder, dramatically expelling a sigh.
“Don’t you start, Love.”
I snickered. “What? I can’t help that I’m going to miss this house. It was my first big girl purchase.”
“And it’s still yours. It’s not like you’re selling it or anything. You’re renting it out.”
“I know, but I don’t want anyone to mess it up or mistreat it when I’ve handled it with love and care all these years.”
Moving out my house was bittersweet, but it was needed. Our family was growing. While my house had plenty of space, I didn’t want to be without Shea. I adored the space we were in. We’d completely let go of the past and had been focusing on the future. Everything flowed so effortlessly, and it felt damn good having my best friend back.
Shea kissed my cheek. “We’ll make sure we pick the right tenants, one’s whose values align with yours. Is that good?”
“It is.”
“That was the only answer you could give me. You feel confident enough to let them do what they need to do while I take you somewhere?”
“Uh, I don’t know, Shea. I don’t want any of my stuff damaged or missing.”
He chuckled. “You know I wouldn’t have hired them if I didn’t trust them. Plus, there’s someone sitting outside watching their every move. They’ll call me if anything crazy happens.”
“Okay, let’s go.”
Shea turned me around and passionately kissed me. I draped my arms over his shoulders, accepting his tongue. My entire body heated when he gripped my ass. I was trying to keep it together, but I moaned in his mouth and bit his bottom lip. He pulled away, smirking.
“You better stop before we give them a show.”
“You’re the one who started it, Shea. I was good until you started touching me. You know this baby has me hot and bothered all the damn time.”
“The complete opposite of how you were with Ocean. You didn’t even want me to touch you or look yo’ way.”
I slapped his arm. “I couldn’t help it. I was mad at you because everything I was going through was yo’ fault.”
“Nah. It was our fault. It takes two to tango, and you know how to dance on it, Love.”
With a quick peck to my lips, Shea winked at me and grabbed my hand. He led me out to his truck, helped me inside, and buckled me in. All I could do was shake my head. I had five and a half months left of his extra shenanigans. I loved it, though. Shea always catered to my every need, but it was on a different level when I was pregnant.
As he drove with one hand on the steering wheel and the other resting on my thigh, I couldn’t stop staring at him. I reached over and ran the pad of my thumb over his cheek. He licked his lips and glanced over at me.
“What’s on yo’ mind?”
“You.”
His handsome ass blushed. “What ’bout me?”
