When I was a safe distance I finally risked a glance back. Bridget was talking to another woman, both sets of eyes trained on me.

Maybe having dinner at the farm was for the best.

Hopefully, Leonard behaves himself.

Jack

Leonard was crowing as I got out of the car.

Kai’s eyebrows raised at the sound while Aiden flinched at the sheer volume. Dean, for his part, didn’t seem fazed as he got out of his truck.

“Oh, Leonard, look at you, you big strong man,” a sweet voice crooned from the porch after the door swung open. “You’re such a protective alpha.”

“Am I going to have a complex from a damn rooster?” Kai muttered under his breath, making me snort. The poor guy already had a complex. He wasn’t used to anyone being immune to his charm. I had a feeling she’d warm up to him quickly, though.

“Hey, guys!” Tillie turned to greet us and my breath was completely knocked out of me.

She was beautiful with her pink cheeks and the slight sheen of sweat on her face making stray hairs stick to her skin while the rest of her blonde tresses were up in a messy ponytail.

She was wearing a pale pastel purple sundress with small, red flowers all over it. It looked like a corset lining along her side. I couldn’t even begin to figure out how to describe the top of the dress in my mind because it accentuated her breasts perfectly.

Breasts that I remember every detail of.

“Thanks for having us over for dinner,” Aiden said, the first one of us able to break himself free from her spell. Our sweet omega farmer might secretly be a siren.

“Of course,” she said, her voice bright. “I set us up out here and I have my speaker set up if someone wants to connect and play something. The Wi-Fi password is Leonard.”

“Can we help you inside at all?” Dean asked as she started to move toward the door.

“Actually, yes. If someone could carry out the trays so I can get things going on the grill I’d appreciate it,” she said with a sweet smile.

Dean and I followed her in before anyone else could volunteer. More perfect memories hit me as we walked in the door. It was just as bright and airy as I remembered. I was usually a fan of order, but I realized it was because I was waiting for Tillie to come along and bring the color and chaos.

“I love your place,” Dean said as he looked around. She beamed over at us, eyes tracking over the home she built for herself.

“I’m forever adding new pieces, but you know I’ve always loved bright colors,” she said with a slight musical laugh before heading for the kitchen. She had one tray of chicken already spiced and marinated, ready for a grill, then another with bacon wrapped asparagus and foil covered potatoes.

No mashed potatoes in sight. If I wasn’t in love before, I sure was falling now.

Dean grabbed one and I grabbed the other while she fished in her drawers for tongs, giving us a gorgeous view of her ass that had us both biting back groans.

She had no idea what she did to us. It was just Tillie being comfortable in her space while she silently wrecked us in the best way.

A high-pitched scream came from outside making us all jump, even Tillie, whose head shot up and looked around in a panic.

“What the hell—?” Dean started as Tillie rushed outside to see what was going on.

We weren’t far behind her and it took every bit of my alpha self control to not drop the tray of food as I lost it laughing.

Kai was swearing as a three-legged cat was climbing up the beta’s pants and then his shirt with some finagling. Aiden was watching it all with his quiet amusement, not making any movement to help his packmate.

“Oh, Kai! I’m so sorry. I have no idea what has gotten into him. Let me help,” Tillie said, her voice rising in concern as she ran over to him.

She reached for the cat but it batted her hand away before scurrying up Kai’s shirt and standing on his shoulders.

“What is going on? Is it still on me?” Kai said, every muscle of his body tense as he stood there awkwardly reminding me of Lurch. “Why— what is this cat doing?!”

His voice raised more octaves than I even knew was possible and I couldn’t hold back a snicker when Tillie put her hands on her hips.
