He didn’t stop until I tried to squeeze my legs closed, then he rose to his knees and looked down at me with a cocky grin. “Such a good girl.”
He leaned over and opened his nightstand to pull out a condom, then grabbed my ankles and pulled me to him. “Are you ready for my cock, good girl?”
Goddammit, I was not a good girl!
At least I hadn’t thought so until I got naked with this man.
But as he pressed his dick inside me, I decided there were worse things to be.
Chapter Nine
Kristy
We laid staring at the ceiling above his bed as we caught our breath, and I couldn’t help but notice the crown molding.
My bedroom didn’t have that, and I thought it added a nice touch.
“What are you thinking?”
“Um…” I knew he probably wanted me to say something about how terrific the sex had been, and it had been amazing—the man had talent, it just wasn’t what I was thinking right that second. But I was a crappy liar, so I almost always told the truth.
“That I like your crown molding.”
“Not what I was expecting, but, yeah, I saw it on one of those DIY shows and thought it made a big difference in how the room looked, so I decided to have it put in here.”
“You did that?”
“Oh, hell no,” he scoffed. “I don’t have time to do that. I had the contractor add it when he turned this into the primary suite.”
We were quiet for another minute before I asked, “What were you expecting me to say?”
“I don’t know. Either that you had to leave, or that you were ready for Round Two.”
“Out of those options, which would you have preferred?”
“Well, obviously not the first one, but I’m not eighteen anymore—if you want Round Two, you’re going to have to give me some time to recover.”
“What if we go back to my place? That way my dog isn’t home alone, and we can have pillow talk before falling asleep, and then have Round Two in the morning.”
I couldn’t believe I was suggesting it, but as I held my breath waiting for him to reply, I realized how much I wanted him to say yes.
Fortunately, he didn’t even seem to have to think about it, because he sat up and rolled off the bed. “Let me pack a bag.”

I pulled out my duffel bag and stared at the roller board stashed underneath it in my closet. I almost always took the portable scooter when I traveled; it fit in my luggage and did the job of letting me maneuver around my hotel rooms.
But I wasn’t sure I was ready for Kristy to see me using it. Yet, if I wanted to spend the night with her, the only other alternatives were to schlep the wheelchair to her house—which would be a pain in the ass and then I also ran the risk of people seeing me unload it. Or I could sleep with my prosthetics on, and I wasn’t willing to put my body through that.
So, scooter it is.
I placed it at the bottom of the duffel then piled clothes for the next day on top of it, followed by the toiletries bag that I never unpacked and just left on a shelf when I came home from trips.
She poked her head around the closet door jamb. “Um, I’m going to need—wow, that’s a lot of legs.”
I didn’t have to look to know she was referring to the three shelves in my closet displaying my prosthetics like some people would shoes.
