Words are unnecessary. It’s all there in her eyes.

The sadness.

Heartbreak.

Devastation.

The silence is deafening.

Tears stream down her cheeks and now I see the cost.

Everything.

My angel turns and walks away.

She was the only good thing in my life, and now she’s gone.

I tried to be good, to be the man she needed me to be.

I tried.

There’s no coming back from this, so I’ll willingly enter the spiral.

The light turns to dark and consumes me.

It’s the beginning of the end.

This time I won’t fight.

I give up.

There’s nothing left to lose.
