Luciano goes completely still. For one second, nothing happens.

Then the leash tightens—not enough to hurt, just enough to pull me one step closer.

“Come.”

That’s it.

He turns and starts down the hall.

I follow. Because apparently I’ve finally reached the portion of tonight where my mouth has consequences.

Luciano glances back once.

Of course he notices.

“Still enjoying yourself, princesa?”

“Definitely.”

“We’ll fix that.”

My stomach flips.

He leads me past the main rooms toward the quieter end of Obsidian, the leash loose between us until I deliberately slow my steps.

Then he looks at me. “Inside.”

I walk in.

The door closes behind us.

The music fades to a muted throb beneath my heels. Low amber light spills across black walls and the leather chair positioned in the center of the room.

“You ready to behave, princesa?”

The words sink straight between my legs.

Luciano winds another length of the leash around his hand and steps closer. There isn’t enough tension to pull, only enough that I’m constantly aware of it.

I look up at him.
