I love that.
Luciano winds the end of the leash once around his hand.
I tilt my head. “What?”
“You’re enjoying yourself.”
“A little.”
“A dangerous choice considering where you are.”
I slide my hands up the front of his shirt. “If I say it again, do I get a consequence?”
He smirks. Slow.
“Is that what you’re looking for tonight?”
“Maybe.”
His thumb traces the side of my waist.
“Then ask properly.”
I look up at him.
“Can I have a consequence, Sir?”
The amusement in his eyes disappears beneath something much darker.
Much better.
His hand slides around to the back of my neck, fingers settling just above the collar.
“Calling me Sir? Making demands? You’ve gotten very comfortable lately.”
“I’m married now.”
“I’m aware.”
“I think it gives me privileges.”
“It doesn’t.”
“That seems unfair.”
His mouth curves.
“You knew the rules before you signed the paperwork.”
I laugh.
Then he leans closer, his mouth brushing my ear.
“Say his name again, princesa.”
A shiver runs through me.
“Throne. Kingston.”
