Then the day after.
The certainty comes quick and without permission.
I let it stay.
Chapter 30
Luciano
Ilock the front door behind us.
Elena kicks off her heels at the bottom of the stairs and starts up without looking back.
I toe off my shoes beside the door, watching her climb.
I almost laugh.
“Eager, princesa?”
She looks back at me over her shoulder. “You gave me instructions.”
“And you’re suddenly committed to following them?”
“I want my scene.”
Perfect.
“Bedroom.”
Her smile flashes before she disappears upstairs.
I take my time removing my jacket.
She’s spent the last forty minutes deciding what she wants. I’ve spent them watching every moment the possibilities crossed her face—the distracted bites of steak, the way she pressed her thighs together beneath the table, the looks she kept sending me when she thought I wouldn’t notice.
By the time I enter my bedroom, she’s kneeling at the foot of the bed exactly where I told her to be.
Her dress gathers high around her thighs. Her hands are clasped behind her back, but the look she gives me contains far too much satisfaction to be called obedient.
She knows what this does to me.
“Have you decided?” I ask.
“Yes.”
I close the door behind me. “Tell me.”
“Bondage.”
“That’s all? Tie you up and what, princesa?”
She hesitates, gathering courage. “Orgasm control.”
A laugh moves through me, low and genuine.
“What?” she asks.
“Nothing. I’m going to thoroughly enjoy your choices.”
