“You’re not sleeping here,” she says.

“Why the hell not?”

“No, Storm.”

“Yeah, Kenzee. I am.” Now she’s up on her feet, her hands on her hips, glaring at me.

“You can’t invite yourself to stay here, Storm,” she snaps at me.

“Why not? I’m fuckin’ tired, and it’s late.”

“It’s my house!”

“So I can come over and train you and fuck you, and that’s it?” I ask her. She swallows hard, and I see the look in her eyes. I climb off the bed and walk over, stopping right in front of her.

“You’re gonna deny that there’s more here, aren’t you?”

“There’s nothing here, Storm. We made a deal.”

“A deal. You and the fuckin’ deal, Kenz! Maybe I want more than the goddamn deal!”

“And maybe I can’t give it to you!”

“Like fuck you can’t! You’re just scared, and I get it. I fuckin’ get why, but come on, Kenz. What we have goin’ is good, isn’t it?”

“I want you to leave.”

“No.”

“I want you to leave, Storm,” she yells this time. I don’t want to do this. I don’t want her to do this. But she is. I huff out a breath and nod my head, turning toward the door. I look back over at her once more but she won’t even look at me before I walk out of her room.

I know that this is hard for her. I know that this is a lot for her. Hell, I shouldn’t even be messing with this girl but I can’t help myself. I’m falling for her. I’m fucking falling for the girl that I’m not supposed to want, and that’s a problem.

I stomp out of her front door after grabbing my shirt and cut that I left in there earlier and head for my bike. I tug my shirt on and then my cut before jerking my helmet on my head. I climb on my bike, start it and rev it up before glancing back at her house. I can see her shadow in the window upstairs, and I know she’s watching me, but fuck this. If this is how she wants to be, then fine.

I take off, heading back to the clubhouse.

Once I get there, I kill the engine and climb off, heading inside. I’m in a pissed-off mood and not really wanting to deal with anyone’s shit, but as soon as I step through the door, a fist meets my face.

“What the hell?” I growl as I stumble back and raise my hand to my face. That’s when I see Jenson. “What the fuck was that for?”

“You’re fuckin’ my niece? Of all the fuckin’ girls around here and you’re fuckin’ her?” Shit. How the hell did he know that?

“What are you talkin’ about?”

“Don’t play dumb, Storm. I know you’ve been at her house.”

“And?”

“You just got out of the pen for fucks sake! Don’t you have priorities?”

“Such as?”

“Dealin’ with Kristy and her shit?” he says, narrowing his eyes at me.

“I’m dealin’ with that shit,” I tell him.

“As you’re fuckin’ Kenz?”
