“If you think I am going to fuck you as I shave this perfect pussy, then you’d be right,” Jaxson answered with a smirk as he picked up the razor. “Trust me.”

I couldn’t take my eyes off the razor as he started at the top and ever so carefully worked down one section. Each time he lifted the razor to rinse it off in the cup of water, he would thrust into me a time or two, but the moment the blade touched my skin, he stopped. Everything about this was agonizingly wonderful and completely out of my comfort zone. When he finished all he could do from that angle, he pulled out, making me whimper with the loss.

“On your knees, gorgeous, it’s time to make sure this ass is ready for us to use as well as your pussy,” Jaxson instructed.

This went much quicker and without him thrusting into me, but he’d been edging me the whole time he shaved the front that I was on the verge of begging. After he was done with my ass, he pulled me down onto his cock and fucked me hard and fast. It didn’t take long at all for me to come, sobbing at the relief of finally being allowed to tip over the edge into mind-blowing pleasure.

“Holy fuck!” I panted as Jaxson helped me to my feet and led me back under the water. “I swear there is no way you three can be human when you keep doing shit like that to me.”

Jaxson smiled as he ran the loofa over me once more, cleaning up what he’d left behind. “What can we say? We’ll do anything to ensure you won’t leave us. If that means years of mind-blowing sex, then that’s a burden we’ll have to bear.”

Shutting off the water, he wrapped me up in a towel and combed my hair while I stood at the sink watching him. There was something to be said about men like Jaxson. What had Magnus called him… ah yes, a caretaker. A man who was fulfilled in taking care of their person was a whole new situation for me, but I could easily become addicted to it.

“All right, you two, Mag won’t let me eat without you, so if you don’t mind hurrying just a little, I’d appreciate it,” Ghost called from the bedroom.

“I thought you already had your meal this morning?” I called out, giggling to myself.

Ghost appeared in the doorway, hands on his hips as he looked at me in dismay. “Now, Harper Lynn, did you just make a dirty joke?”

Biting my lip, I shrugged. “Could be that I did… guess it depends on if you thought it was funny or not.”

“It was hilarious,” Ghost said, cracking a huge smile he’d been trying to hide the whole time, then sighed dramatically. “But to answer your question, we mere mortal men can’t live on the nectar of the goddess alone. Wish it wasn’t the case so I could eat you any time I wanted, but them’s the breaks. Now put something on. Or don’t. Up to you, but food is on the table.”

Chapter nine

Harper

Breakfast was light and easy, with the brothers talking about things as I ate my entire meal with Magnus watching my every bite. When we finished, I helped with washing the dishes while Ghost acted like a fool, snapping my ass with the dish towel every time he walked by.

“Do that one more time, and I’ll see what moves I remember from the self-defense Dax taught me,” I growled, catching the towel and tugging him closer.

Ghost stuck out his lower lip and pouted at me. “You’re being no fun, angel.”

“Come up with something else we can do because this is getting old,” I suggested, snagging the towel and drying the last of the forks to put away.

This suggestion perked Ghost right up. “Oo, good idea. I’m thinking we could go skydiving or maybe bungee jumping. What do you think?”

Why I was surprised at all that this is where he went first, I had no idea. “Why don’t we do something that doesn’t involve heights.”

“I have an idea,” Jaxson called from the living room. “We could take her out to the firing range. It would be good for her to know how to shoot a gun or at least how to handle one since we have them all over the house.”

“What! No, I don’t want to do that,” I screeched.

While I didn’t have an issue with guns in general and knew they offered protection, I never wanted anything to do with them. This was one of the biggest struggles I had with learning about who Dax really was. I had no idea she had guns stashed around the house or on her person most of the time. Yes, she was a crime lord, and it made sense, but that didn’t mean I had to be involved with the things

Magnus appeared in the kitchen carrying a duffle that clinked suspiciously when he set it down on the island. “Way ahead of you, Jax. I agree she needs to know so if something happens and we aren’t around, she doesn’t shoot off her toe or something.”

“Look, I might not know how to fire a gun, but I know better than to do something stupid like that,” I argued. “Besides, you told me you’d never let something happen to me, so why even bother?”

“All right, let’s say we get into a fight, and one or more of us is injured while defending you, and the attacker comes after you?” Magnus challenged.

“I would run,” I answered. “Before all this, I was an avid runner, and I can go a fair distance. If someone is coming after me, I’ll book it out of there and find someplace to hide.”

“Damn, you would just leave one of us there dying? That’s cold, angel,” Ghost muttered, shaking his head. “Here we are trying to keep you safe, and you’d just up and leave us in the dust.”

Now that he put it that way, I hesitated. “Well, I would come back.”

“What if it’s too late and one or all of us die? How would you keep yourself safe in a place you don’t know with trained killers hot on your heels?” Jaxson pressed as he came to join in the conversation. “Men like us don’t give up on their marks. We’re like a dog with a bone. We don’t get paid until the job is done, and money means a whole hell of a lot more than you do.”
