While I trained my gun on Jazmine, Titan grabbed her arms and secured them behind her back.

“Whatever money is here, you can have it. It’s in the safe. The code is—”

She was cut off when I punched her in the mouth. Her head snapped back and when she looked at us, her mouth was leaking.

“We don’t want your fucking money,” I spat.

Jazmine trembled in fear as tears slipped down her cheeks.

I giggled. “You’re dead, bitch.”

“Please! I’ll do anything you want!”

“I’m sure you’re used to that line, aren’t you?” I asked, stooping in front of her. “Tell me, on average, how many dicks do you take a night? Or is it different now that you’re the madam? I can’t see JacQues letting his bottom bitch have special treatment, so I assume you’re still fucking for money.”

At the mention of JacQues’ name, Jazmine’s eyes widened.

“JacQues?”

“You know? Your boss.”

Her eyes shifted. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I took this place over for Miranda Devereaux.”

I shook my head. “No. No, you didn’t. Because I took it over after I killed that nasty bitch.”

I pulled off my skullcap, showing Jazmine my face. Her eyes widened.

“You…”

“Me.”

“JacQues said you were dead.”

I laughed. That was the story my mother had put out. After I came to, she told me they were on high alert in the hospital. Someone had come there on JacQues’ behalf looking for “Celeste”. They told the staff that he was her brother. Once they heard she was dead, they left the hospital.

“Yet here I am,” I said, standing. “Your grandmother never told you it’s hard to kill a fool? I’m not all the way there in the head and neither is my husband. I can keep my crazy under wraps, but him? He’s gonna crash out every time.”

Titan chuckled. “Only ‘bout you, mamas.”

I smiled. “He’s just being modest. You should thank him and my father for sparing your life for a few extra hours. I was ready to fuck you up as soon as I touched down, but they said I needed a nap. Crazy, right?”

Jazmine looked at me like she wasn’t sure she should respond.

“I asked you a fucking question!” I yelled.

“Y-yeah. That’s crazy. But naps are good. Gives you time to calm down and think about things—”

“Did I ask you all that?”

“N-no. Please! I don’t wanna die!”

“That’s too damn bad. I tried to help you and every woman here against their will, and you went back and told JacQues what I was doing. How long have you been working with him?”

“I—I don’t—I’m not—”

“How long!”

“Three years!” Tears streamed down her face as she confessed. “Miranda introduced us. She said I had an opportunity to make more money if I managed the girls she brought in. I kept them in line. Booked their Johns. Sometimes I got to handpick the girls.”
