“We’ll be alone.”
Mano scoffed. “You’ve got a lot of urges for a guy who already has a girlfriend. What, Anna doesn’t satisfy you?”
Ody’s expression turned serious. “I don’t want you to satisfy my urges,” he said. “I want you because you’re the one who causes them.”
Butterflies stirred in Mano’s stomach as he quickly looked away.
“So,” Ody continued, “are you coming with me to Patra? You said you’d come. To meet my family.”
“Okay, stop asking,” Mano muttered. “I said I’d come.”
Ody studied him, a slow smirk spreading across his lips. “You’re really cute when you pretend you don’t want this.”
Mano shot him a glare. “The door handle got stuck,” he grumbled, turning his head to the side. “It wouldn’t open.”
Ody burst out laughing. “Oh man… what am I gonna do with you?” He grabbed Mano by the collar and stole a quick kiss. “The handle got stuck, huh?” he said with a grin. “Will you ever admit you like me?”
“No,” Mano said, staring straight ahead. “Because I don’t lie.”
Ody chuckled. For a moment he just looked at him. Then he leaned back and stretched out across Mano’s lap. Mano blinked and looked down at him, startled.
Ody rested his head comfortably, watching him. “I like you,” he said simply. “And I’m not ashamed to admit it.” A grin spread across his lips before he shouted, “Mano Jones, I’m so into you!”
Mano stared down at him, horrified by how hard his heart was pounding.
Ody tilted his head. “So,” he said, his eyes searching Mano’s face, “tell me how much you liked what I just did to you.”
“I didn’t,” Mano muttered, looking away.
Ody smirked. “Liar. If you could see the look on your face, you wouldn’t even try.”
“Did you see your own face?” Mano shot back.
“But I’m not denying anything,” Ody said. “You turn me on so fucking bad.” He held his gaze, watching Mano’s long dark lashes flutter.
Ody chuckled and turned onto his side, still stretched across Mano’s lap. He took Mano’s hand and placed it on his hair.
“What are you doing?” Mano asked.
“Stroke my hair.”
Mano stared at him, completely thrown by the request. “Are you insane?” He pulled his hand away.
Ody frowned. “Come on. What’s the big deal?”
“I don’t want to. Leave me alone.”
Ody scoffed and sat up. “Pfft!”
Before Mano could react, Ody grabbed him and pulled him down across his own lap.
“What the hell?” Mano tried to sit up, but Ody held him there.
“Don’t talk.” He began running his fingers gently through Mano’s hair.
Mano went quiet, his body going still beneath his hand.
“See? It’s not that hard.”
