Stephanie waves me off. “You two make me sick with that new love.”
“There are six exits in this house. Go find one,” Benny says, looking every bit of fine and mine in his suit.
“That cut deep, brother-in-law,” Stephanie pouts.
“You’re leaving me, Trouble?”
“Don’t give me those sad eyes.” I pull him by his tie for a kiss. “I’ll be back later.”
“I love you,” he says.
“Love you too.”
“Aww. Look at this international Black love flourish.” Steph bats her eyelashes at us. “I want a crime boss to kidnap me and fall in love.”
“They’d toss you out of the van for talking too much,” Benny says under his breath.
I swat his chest. “Be nice.” His grip on my ass shuts me up.
He peers down at me with no nonsense and every bit of possession. “I want you back in a few hours. I need my wife.”
“Okay,” I coo.
“Trouble.”
I blink away the dick memories. “Yup. I need to change first.”
“Let them smell me leaking out of my pussy.” The frosty edge of his tone sends a shiver down my spine. Tissues will have to do.
“Three hours,” he says.
“Five,” Stephanie counters.
“Four.” Benny’s eyes land on mine. “It’s your ass if you’re a minute late, and you can’t take my dick there yet. Move carefully.”
Hades and Ares disappear behind the bookcases with their heaux daddy. Stephanie hands me a wad of tissues.
“Let’s go, leaky. You’re on a time limit.”
“Hurry it up, bitch!”
Stephanie pops her head out of a changing room with a smirk. “Don’t rush me because you’re leaking again. We’ll get you back on time.”
Benny is already counting down the time with texts. We need at least forty minutes to get back without traffic. My ass literally cannot take the punishment.
“Done.” She walks out of the changing room with three outfits.
“You should answer that.” I say to her phone that has been ringing nonstop.
She rolls her eyes. “It’s Andrea.”
My brows dip. “Don’t you want to talk to him?”
“After he sweats for leaving me on read! He ghosted me the same day you and Sally went on your honeymoon.” She hands her clothes to the sales associate behind the register.
I text Aldo that we’re ready for pickup. “That’s not like him. Maybe an emergency came up.”
