I stole one more glance at her before heading toward the front door. The moment I stepped outside onto the porch, I breathed out and . . .

I couldn't stop smiling.

If someone would have told me a month ago I’d be in a small Texas town going down on a gorgeous woman, I wouldn’t have believed them. I wouldn’t have believed them if they’d said the next day, I’d be going on a date with an equally gorgeous man.

But god, was I glad this was my life. Even with the stress sitting on my shoulders and the moments I worried I was a burden to everyone around me, I felt better now than I had in a really long time.

Why notlive a little?

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Madi

In the span of two weeks, my life had gone from falling apart to falling for two people.

I sank into the bathtub, sighing happily as the hot water and epsom salts eased my muscles. It seemed like a good idea to start my morning off this way before getting ready for tonight.

Tonight.Last night.

Dallas and June had split my heart in two.

My cheeks heated as I thought about June again. Her moans, her touch, the way she looked on top of me. I couldn’t get the image of her tits bouncing as she rode my thigh out of my mind. I’d even dreamed about her. Even the thought of her whimpering for me again was enough to turn me on.

Steam rose from the tub as I grabbed my phone off the tiny stool with a fluffy towel, folded and waiting. I was playing a dangerous game by having my phone in the bath tub, but then again, I didn’t exactly fit in the tub. It was a good sized one that was deep, but I wastall. My legs folded in enough that I sat up slightly, which meant if my phone fell, it would hit my chest first.

I had a couple of text messages from Justin. It was the same old thing. Telling me I was the worst person he’d ever dated, I was awful, blah, blah, blah.I was so done with him.

“Okay.” I blew out a breath.

I was a new version of myself. I didn’t need anything from him ever again. There wasn’t a single reason as to why I still needed his number.

Even in the short amount of time I’d known June and Dallas, I’d found more connection with them than I ever did with Justin.

“Do it,” I urged myself.

I went to his contact information and finally, finally, blocked him.

I did it.

A burst of giddiness hit me. I’d finally blocked that motherfucker. I was so proud of myself. I grinned as I sank back, but then a different name caught my eye.

Dallas.

My eyes lingered on my chat with him.

I wanted to be honest with him about what happened with June. I didn’t want to hide anything from either of them. Being truthful about my attraction to both of them felt like the best thing for all of us.

It was getting easier to be bold the more I tried it.

Me

I’m starting my day with a hot bath :)

My heart leapt as his reply text bubbles immediately appeared.
