All the way up the stairs to the door, my heart is racing in my chest. I need some kind of release. More than some twink at the club can give me, that much I know. I learned my lesson the last time.
I open my phone and flip through my contacts but none of them stand out to me. There’s one place….one place I could go to, if I’m really desperate.
Which I am.
My cock is rock hard in my pants and all I can think about is being sliced open with Aleksandr on top of me.
I don’t have a death wish—usually—but when he looks at me like that…
I shiver as I open my car door and decide where I’m going right here and now.
If I don’t get out of here, I’ll walk right back inside and Aleksandr will likely not take my advances lightly. I’m not interested in actually dying, and it doesn’t matter if he’s the one who has stirred my desires. Someone else can sate them. Someone else can help me.
Aleksandr isn’t the one I want.
Is he?
I try to ignore that thought as I climb into my car and tug my seatbelt on.
Sex club. I know exactly where it is. I haven’t been there in a year at least, but it’s not hard to find. A little building tucked between a laundromat and a gentlemen’s club.
I told myself I wasn’t going to go back. I always left feeling much to be desired and as though I couldn’t find anyone who got my blood pumping.
Now, my blood is boiling in my veins because ofhim. I need someone else to sate the need that Aleksandr has caused within me, and this is the only place I know where to go.
My fingers tap on the steering wheel and I’m just a couple miles from the pace when suddenly my phone rings. I debate ignoring it, but I see it’s Alessio and I quickly answer.
“Tommy, where are you?” he asks me.
“On the road. Just finished talking to…well it doesn’t matter,” I say quickly, not sure if my phone is truly safe.
“We need you home,” he tells me. “We’re discussing what to do at the gala.”
I growl under my breath.
Great.
“Fine, I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.”
I hang up the phone and do a U-turn in the middle of the road. I take off back towards the estate.
So much for a night of relief.

ALEK
The blood runs off my body and mixes with the hot water, draining down beneath my feet. My hands are shaking, but I ignore them. I simply scrub my body with the soapy washcloth again and again until I feel clean. It’s never enough, but I do it anyway.
I can still see the body in my mind’s eye. The rich red blood dripping down from his throat and soaking into his shirt and pooling onto the floor…the gaping open mouth and wound. Wound that if I desired, I could almost bury my fist in it and feel the anatomy of the neck around my fingers.
I don’t have to do it to know that it would feel warm and wet.
With a rough swallow, I try to get that image out of my mind. It was just another job that I had to do. That’s all. Another man’s life taken by the blade of my knife for the sake of another…and the money.
The money that I’ll never spend on anything truly important again.
I stand with the water pouring over my hair that sticks to my neck and shoulders as the steam surrounds me.
