“Are you okay?” I ask.

She nods and bites her bottom lip.

“Are you?”

My lips brush against hers as I cup her cheek.

“I’m a lot better now.”

“Me too.”

My sigh has my shoulders slumping and a genuine smile crosses my face as I stare at her.

She means that. Wholeheartedly.

Her eyes are clearer, more focused, than they were earlier.

She gradually glides down my body, and her palms rest on my chest as she gets her balance. I wait until I know she’s steady before I let her hips go.

“Let’s—”

I spin around, giving my back to whoever just burst through the fucking bathroom door.

“Damn, what is taking you two so long? We’ve got to go.”

Riven’s voice gets louder as he slings the shower door open and I hear his hands slap against his thighs.

“Kyzen just finished getting the cream out of my hair, you little shit.” A smirk tugs at my mouth with the sass in her tone.

“Did he have to wash it twice? Damn, I could’ve licked it out by now.”

“You’re ridiculous. I’m done now. Go get me a towel.”

“There’s one right there.”

“That’s Kyzen’s. I already took over his shower. I’m not taking his towel. Just go get me one out of his bin.”

He huffs while stomping away and I can’t help but chuckle at his ass.

“I’ll see you out here.”

I hum and reach my hand back, grabbing hers before she leaves.

“Thank you, little goddess.”

She blinks a few times, then circles her arms around me. Her cheek presses against my back while her fingers caress my heart.

“Anytime, my eternity.”

She kisses my spine at the base of my neck and my head falls back.

Fuck. This woman is my everything.

I wait until I know they’ve both left the bathroom before I cut my water off, then wrap my towel and my power around me.

I’m dressed and brushing my hair faster than Thayla’s probably decided on what to wear.

All three of my brothers turn to me as soon as I come out of my room and I snort at all the different looks on their faces.
