“Everything about you drives me crazy,” I tell her. Grabbing her thighs, I slide my hands up her legs, raking my eyes over every inch of her before cupping her ass and lifting her into the water and against me. She wraps her arms and legs around me, just like she knows I love, right before I kiss her.
The familiar taste of her and the feel of her mouth against mine pulls a deep groan from my body. I cup the back of her head and palm her ass while I kiss her and slowly walk us over to the built-in ledge on the other side of the pool. As soon as we get to it, I lift myself on it so she’s straddling my lap. We’re only in a couple of inches of water now, making it easy for her to ride me without having to experience painful underwater sex. We tried it a few times when we first moved in, but quickly learned we both prefer to be above the water line.
She hovers over me while I kiss my way along her chest, letting out the sweetest moan when I catch her nipple and give it a hard suck. Her fingers dig into my shoulders while she teases the head of my cock with her pussy. She’s soaked, already dripping onto me, coating my dick and making me absolutely feral with the need to be inside her.
Right when she starts to lower herself onto me, I cup her face and tell her I love her before slamming her down, forcing her to take all of me in one go because I love hearing the throaty gasp she gives every time I do it.
“You’d think I’d be used to that by now,” she says when I bring my face close to hers.
“I hope you never do,” I say, making her smile.
Dragging one hand down her spine, I fill my palm with one of her cheeks and give it a squeeze, groaning when she slowly starts to rock her hips. I watch my wife as she starts to ride me, knowing I’ll never get tired of seeing her like this and knowing I’ll always be grateful that I’m the only one who ever will.
By the time I carry her inside, she’s limp and happy and nearly asleep. Laying her in our bed, I kiss her and tell her I’ll be back in a few hours. She gives me a lazy smile and makes sure her phone is close by before kissing me again.
“I love you. Be careful,” she says, already more asleep than awake.
“I love you too, besyonok. I’ll be back soon.”
After dressing, I make sure the penthouse is secure before getting on my bike and making the short drive to Ev’s apartment. He bought the place after getting into law school, and even though he was busy before, it’s a thousand times worse now. I don’t know how the hell he does it or why on earth he wants to, but that doesn’t stop me from admiring the pure fucking tenacity he has about this thing. He’s like a manpossessed, and when he buzzes me in, I’m not at all surprised to find him awake and surrounded by books.
“Hey, man,” I say, taking a seat on his couch.
“How are Sitka and Rowan?” He takes his glasses off and rubs at his eyes.
“They’re great. Both asleep right now. I’ll send you the video I took of him this morning. It’s pretty fucking cute.”
He grins at that, but it does nothing to hide the exhaustion.
“When was the last time you took a break and got some decent sleep?”
He raises a brow at me. “I’m not sure, Mom. It’s been a while.”
I laugh at his tone while he cracks a smile. His new apartment is nice, way nicer than the one he was living in. This one is filled with bookshelves and huge windows that look out onto the city, modern furniture, and a high-end kitchen that never gets any use. The place is clutter free aside from study material. There’s nothing here that makes me think my cousin lives here—nothing personal, nothing that’s just Ev, and I hate that for him.
“When can you come over for supper?” I ask, because I’m determined to not let him slip too far away.
“I’m not sure. I’ll let you know when I can.”
I scoff out a laugh, refusing to accept that. “I’ll tell Sitka you’ll be there this Saturday.”
When he gives me a look, I say, “You gave me that same line two weeks ago, Ev. You can make time for a meal. You have to eat, right?”
“Yeah,” he admits, “but everything is harder now. I never have enough time to study. I need to figure out where I’m going to intern next summer, and I sure as hell can’t let anyone figure out who I really am.”
“We won’t blow your cover. I’m not going to just sit back and watch you disappear. Fuck that. You’re coming to supper at our place this weekend. End of story.”
“You going to tell everyone else?”
I grin at him. “Of course. We all want to see you, and it’ll be easier for you if we do it like this.”
“Okay, but I can’t stay long,” he warns me.
“I wouldn’t dream of keeping you away from your precious textbooks.” I look at the couch I’m sitting on, noticing the scrunched up pillow at the end. “Do you even use your bed, or do you just pass out in here when your body finally shuts down?”
“I usually just crash on the couch,” he admits with a heavy sigh.
“It won’t always be like this,” I remind him. “Graduate, get a job, and then promise me you’re going to get a life. You can save all our asses while also meeting someone, Ev.”
