You know how I feel about sharing food. As in, I hate it. Especially with football players who eat enough for nineteen people.

You can’t see me right now but I’m rolling my eyes. Like you weren’t in the weight room at the crack of dawn this morning.

You never miss any days. I’m shocked you haven’t collapsed from exhaustion by now.

I’m superhuman, Sally, you know that.
Soph
Yeah, yeah. See you at the game.

Don’t forget the popcorn.
I look up from my phone to find all three guys watching me. “That was Sophie. They’re on their way now. She’s getting the snacks.”
Jack huffs out a laugh. “For you. She’s getting the snacks for you. She never shares.”
I smirk at him. “She shares with me.”
Sometimes. When I’m lucky. She really is weird about sharing food.
I watch all three of them exchange a quick look that’s practically over before it starts and I don’t know what that’s about, but I don’t really care. Not with the prospect of the hockey game, my favorite people, and all my favorite snacks in my future.
“Are you sure about this dating app thing?” Jack asks carefully.
Grabbing a Lightning jersey with Oliver’s name and number on the back and pulling it on, I turn to him. “I just told you I met a girl I think I like, which is literally the purpose of the app. Why wouldn’t I be sure?”
He studies me for a beat. “I just think maybe it would be easier to find someone in real life.”
I scoff rather than recount the million reasons why being a professional athlete makes it impossible to meet anyone. “Why does everyone keep saying that?”
Jack glances over at Cam and Drew and pauses before answering. “No reason. Let’s get out of here. If we leave now, we can make fun of Oliver while he does the sexy stretches.”
