“Game over,” Luke declared, followed by the sound of water sloshing before Sierra giggled.
“Xander…” Mercedes mumbled from behind them. “Fuck me. Now.”
“Baby, you seem to forget who’s in charge here.”
“If you don’t, I’m gonna take a page from Leah’s playbook and get myself off.”
“I don’t think Leah’s got to worry about getting herself off tonight,” Xander told her. “Looks like Shane’s gonna take care of it for her.”
Logan leaned down, his mouth close to Sam’s ear. “I think it’s time we go home.”
“I agree,” she said softly.
While the others were preoccupied, Logan helped her up, then followed her out of the water as Elijah got to his feet. Their gazes met briefly, and he could see the banked fire still in Elijah’s dark eyes.
This wasn’t over yet.
Not by a long shot.
