I toss the newspaper down in disgust and snatch my mug off the coffee table. Seems every new day brings more and more horrible news. On the bright side, maybe the cops will actually find Phil before we do. Sighing, I get up to refill my coffee mug as I wait for Erick to arrive, and I almost drop it as I step into the kitchen.

Dale rounds the corner with nothing more than a towel wrapped around his waist. His blond hair is slicked back and appears darker than normal. A bead of water trickles down his smooth chest, catching my attention. It continues on its path until it reaches the trail of hair leading down under the towel. I can’t help my eyes from wandering farther down his perfect body where the towel slits open, revealing his thigh.

He clears his throat, and I briefly see the grin on his face before quickly turning away. My entire body burns with embarrassment. It shows immediately against my fair complexion.Thankful for my hair blocking my reddening cheeks, I grip the handle of the coffee pot and pour some of the brown liquid into my cup with a shaky hand as I the heat fades from my face. I take a sip and wait there for a moment, hoping he’s gone.

I turn my head slightly to see him leaning against the wall, intently watching me with curiosity. Uncomfortable, I shift on my feet and grab the sugar to keep my hands busy.

“You just gonna stand there in your birthday suit all day?” I ask as I mix the sugar with my coffee.

“I guess I could,” he answers nonchalantly. “Would you like that?”

I choke on my coffee, not expecting that response. I shouldn’t really be surprised by it, either. I set down my cup to cover my mouth as I cough and slosh it all over the counter and the floor.

My eyes water, blurring my vision as I try to suck in a lung full of air. Dale slaps me on the back a few times thinking it will help, but that never works. I wave him away and lean against the counter for a minute until I can breathe more easily. As I catch my breath, Dale moves next to me, cleaning up my mess.

“Thank you.”

“No problem. You okay?” he asks, his voice laced with concern.

“Yesssss…” Hisses through my lips as I turn to him. The towel he was wearing is now wadded inhis hands and soaked in coffee. My mouth drops open in shock. I want to look away, but I’m frozen on the spot and cannot take my eyes off his crotch.

Dale chuckles and steps toward me, breaking my stare down with his cock. “Better close your mouth, Red, or you’ll be catching more than flies.”

My mouth snaps shut on a huff. I’ve never been left speechless before, but there’s a first time for everything. Dale just shakes his head and laughs as he walks from the room. I wish I could come up with a good comeback, but I’m too busy watching his naked ass go.

A knock on the front door startles me, and I jump. I lay my hand over my pounding heart, feeling like I just got caught cheating.

Dale jerks around the corner with a huge smile on his face and his cock swaying between his legs, and asks, “Want me to get that?”

“No!” I grab the nearest thing to me and chuck it at his head. “Get dressed!”

He easily dodges the salt shaker and chuckles. A second later the bathroom door shuts, muting his laughter. The nerve of that ass. I open the door to find Erick standing there. He relaxes a bit when he doesn’t see Cash or Dale in the room behind me.

“Youcancome in,” I say to him.

“I’d feel better if we left,” he responds. “Besides, I have some thingsto do.”

“Alright. Let me grab my purse.”

I go to the bar and grab my bag. Thinking it best, I make my way to the bedroom to tell Cash I’m leaving. Samuel sits bound and gagged on the floor at the foot of the bed. Stupid man. I can’t believe what he did.

“I’m going out with Erick for a bit. I’ll be back before I go to work tonight.”

He glances up at me and goes back to his phone. “Be careful. Call me if you need me.”

“I will.”

I close the bedroom door as I leave and find a clothed Dale blocking my path.

“Where are you going?” he asks, his brow furrowing.

“I don’t know. Out,” I say, and step to the side to go around him.

He steps in front of me again and pulls out his phone. “What’s your phone number?”

“Cash has it. Get it from him.” Irritated, I step to the other side, and he steps in front of me again.
