“Our new boyfriends will meet each other,” Milo says, his hopeful voice pulling me back to reality. “I’m excited.”
I force a smile and push my hand through my hair. “Yeah,” I lie. “Me, too.”
CHAPTERFOURTEEN
STONE
“First ones here,”Matty declares as he jumps out of my truck. “Awesome.”
I hop out after him. The vacation house is totally secluded at the end of a winding dirt road, stuck back on a private lake. It looks massive with a wide deck wrapping around the back and two swings on the front porch. Around us, the trees mostly still hold their orange and red leaves, although some are already bare.
I grab my bag and a six-pack from the back and follow Matty as he rushes toward the house. His big blue sweater hangs down, the bottom bouncing over the tight curve of his butt while he runs, and I’m tempted to chase him down and throw him to the grass right there.
Stuff like that is pretty much all I’ve been thinking about lately. I figured hooking up with Matty would satisfy my curiosity, like rolling around with a guy is an itch I can scratch every few years and be done with it.
Instead, though, it just makes me want more from him. I’ve seen the face he makes when he comes, all twisted and needy and hot. And I’ll never forget the noises he makes, this wordless begging.
Now, though, I want to know what he tastes like when I take his cock between my lips. I want to push my fingers into his hole and feel how tight he squeezes back. Sex with Matty is a major unknown, and I’m dying to explore it.
No wonder I agreed to this night out of the city. It’s been a week since he blew me, and I’ve barely been able to think of anything else since.
Once we toss our bags inside, Matty takes my hand and drags me through the house, exploring each room. His grip is gentle but steady, like a sweet reward I’m not sure how I earned.
“How am I supposed to act around Milo this time?” I ask. “And his boyfriend?”
It’s good to remind myself what the actual purpose of this night is.
And it’s definitely not learning how to give a rimjob. No matter how much I wish that were the case.
“Just act natural, like you always do,” Matty says. We’re stopped in a tiny bedroom with floral wallpaper, but even though we’re facing each other, he doesn’t make eye contact.
“How do I always act?” I ask.
He squeezes my hand before he releases it. “Just that old Stone charm,” he teases and jumps back, landing on the bed. “Cool stares. Nonchalant nods. Expertly timed hair swoops.”
I push my hair back. “Is that me?”
Matty grins as he leans back on his elbows. Just seeing him on a bed is enough to make my cock thicken, stretching the front of my jeans.
“That’s you,” he says. “But I guess, to answer your question, maybe don’t try quite as hard to make him jealous? It feels different now that he’s dating someone.”
I step closer. “So less PDA. Got it.”
Matty grabs my hand and pulls me, catching me by surprise. I land beside him with a grunt, and we both laugh. “No PDA that’s just for Milo’s sake, I guess.”
We’re a few inches apart, both on our sides. I raise an eyebrow while he scrunches his mouth, trying to hide a smile. “We’re not trying to make Milo jealous anymore,” I say, my voice low and even as I try to bury any feelings before they rise up.
Matty winces. “Yeah, I probably should have thought this out more. It felt weird enough to lie to him before, but I’m not an asshole. I don’t want to break up his relationship.” He kicks his foot out, bouncing it against mine. “Kind of takes the oomph out of the fake boyfriend gig, doesn’t it?”
I chuckle. “That’s fine. Two dates were part of the deal, anyway. You’re not too bummed that your guy isn’t available, though?”
He catches my eye, and I realize our breath is aligned, rising and falling in rhythm.
“Watching Milo date other people has been an emotional rollercoaster for me. So yeah, it’s depressing, but having a distraction helps a lot. Like, for instance, going to a vacation house with my… what’s the word…”
He trails off, so I finish it for him. “Fuck buddy?”
He fake gasps and throws the back of his hand against his forehead. “I can’t believe you said it.”
