Chapter Thirty-Seven
THEO
Renley’s eyes widen ever so slightly before she tries to remain calm.
She wanted to go there, so I’m going there.
Let’s see if she can hang.
“Skinny-dip? That’s the best you’ve got?” she asks and then reaches behind her and removes her top, keeping her body submerged under the water the entire time. She discards her top to the side and then takes off her bottoms as well.
When she’s done, she floats in front of me, the water so dark that I can’t see a goddamn thing.
“Your turn.” She nods at me. “You said to skinny-dipwithyou.”
That I did.
Keeping my eyes on her, I reach below the water and take off my swim trunks, tossing them to the side with her clothes.
“Happy?”
She shrugs as if she doesn’t care, but I can see just how pink her cheeks are. This girl, always trying to put on a facade. If shedidn’t show me who she truly was every once in a while, I might be annoyed, but I like this playful side of her.
She swims by me and dives into the water, showing off her rear end right before popping up, but keeping her shoulders in line with the water.
“Do that on purpose?” I ask. “Trying to get me hard again?”
“Just enjoying the fresh pond.”
“Liar.”
She chuckles. “Truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
She rolls her eyes. “Of course, truth.” She gives it some thought and then she asks, “What’s your favorite body part of mine?”
“Fishing for compliments? Okay. Well, let’s see. I haven’t become well acquainted with many of your body parts, so this is difficult to answer. If you let me have a quick viewing right now, I might be able to.”
I head toward her, but she puts her hand out. “Nice try. Just answer the question.”
I rub my hand over my jaw. “Without the proper assessment, I’m going to have to say your right nipple.”
“My right nipple? You’re not going to say my eyes, my smile, my ass…you’re going to say my right nipple?”
“Yes, because it’s been the friendliest, always excited to see me.”
Her expression falls flat, causing me to laugh.
“Aren’t you classy.”
“They’re not making me a lord without reason.”
“You’re annoying.”
I smile at her. “So I’ve been told.” I swim around her and say, “Truth or dare?”
“Dare.”
