CHAPTER TEN
CAMERONSQUEEZEDHISeyes shut, trying to screw his head back on after the last mind-blowing turn of events in his office. He was going to come in about five seconds if he didn’t calm the hell down.
Was he really letting go of every last shred of sense just for one more glorious time with Jackson? This thought had run through his mind more than once, but he couldn’t stophimself. All the hot tension of being close to her every day was short-circuiting his brain. And the insane jealousy that flashed through him as he listened to her call.
Then she had asked about the condoms. Which he had bought just for her, in case she changed her mind. She wanted it that way—just for her.
They were in dangerous territory. This was all supposed to be play, but it wasn’tanymore. Not for him. And he was almost sure it wasn’t for her, either.
...So hot you don’t want it from anyone else but me.
Her words rang through him as he guided himself into heaven.
“Fuuuuuuck,” he groaned, and she tilted her hips into his.
He was going to make way too much noise if he wasn’t careful. His heart was already pounding at heart-attack speed. He moved as slowlyas he could.
“Harder,” she demanded, her voice needy and desperate.
She moved against him, and he gave her what she asked for. Again and again.
“Cameron,” she cried.
He really might not make it through this. He’d die with his pants down, newly emptied, and he didn’t even care. He should care, and he probably would later. But right now, that didn’t matter.
He gritted his teethand reached in front of her, finding her clit and that rhythm that would set her off. The only thing that mattered was the two of them. It was all too much. She squirmed and with a muffled shout she came around him. With a growl he came hard, stars filling his vision until he found himself leaning over his desk, holding her.
Cameron gulped in breaths, too stunned to move. He stayed there, even after his heart began to slow. Goddamn, he had almost passed out when he came.
“Wow,” she finally said.
“Yeah. Wow.”
He didn’t want to let go of her. This whole encounter had been about playing with dirty fantasies, but he couldn’t stop thinking about how many times he had slipped closer to real. And she had slipped, too. He was sure the moment she had called his name.Cameron.
But they couldn’t stay there forever. He propped himself onto his elbows and kissed her along the jawline, then ran his hand over her soft curves.
“Let’s sit down for a few minutes. Catch our breath,” he murmured.
She nodded.
He disposed of the condom and cleaned up at the corner sink. Then he tucked his half-hard dick back into his pants and walked over to the couch to watch Jackson. She was lovely. All that velvety dark hair and her smart mouth and that little game they’d just played that got him off like nothing ever had. He leaned into the couch cushions and rested his arm along the back. He was so gone on this woman, who lived on the other side of the world. And was hired by the board. All he could think about was getting her to lay back in his arms so he could shuthis eyes and pretend she was his for a few more minutes.
Jackson shimmied her skirt back down her delicious round thighs and rebuttoned her shirt. She walked over to the couch and sat on the edge, leaving way too much room between them. She turned to him and let her gaze fall over his chest, his arms, everywhere.
“You know, you’re really built,” she said. “I’ve never been with someoneso...” She waved away the end of the sentence.
What had she thought to say? Cameron studied her smile, but he couldn’t read it. “That a good thing?”
Her smile widened. “Yes, definitely.”
“Then help yourself, sweetheart.” He shifted, leaving room for her to rest on his shoulder. She blinked and furrowed her brow a little, but she moved closer. She rested her head on his chest, and hewrapped his arms around her.
She made a little humming noise as her chest rose and fell in a long, deep breath. Damn. This was just about perfect.
Jackson looked up at him. “I didn’t take you for much of a cuddler.”
Cameron snorted. “I’m not. And if this gets out, I’ll never live it down.”
