“Boys dropped off food earlier.” Iturned and started walking away.

“Gauge!” she yelled at my retreating back.

She rolled her eyes in annoyance, but Isaw the relief on her face regardless. “How long do we have to stay here?” she replied, and Isnorted out alaugh.

“Too fuckin’ long for my liking,” Ireplied, and stalked away.
